Good product
Holds well in ground. Haven’t had to redo any of the stakes. In fact they are hard to pull out which is a good thing

Stopped My Dog From Visiting His Girlfriend Nextdoor!
I bought these stakes to tack down the bottom of the chain link fence in my yard as my dog loves to scoot under the fence where the ground is a little low and go over and see his girlfriend next door. Although they play well and it is not a problem for him to visit, I wanted to make sure he did not figure out how to get out of other parts of the fenced yard. These stake were perfect for this use. They are sturdy, heavy and long. I put the hook through one of the diamonds of the chain link and pounded the stake into the ground until the hook part was also down into the ground. I have an 80 pound dog (yes, much to our amazement he could get under the fence) and after installing the stakes, he never got under the fence again. There were a couple of spots the stake did not go all the way down into the ground, as the dirt level was too low, so I just bought some dirt and filled in. After the stakes were in, they were hardly noticeable and did not affect grass trimming at all. I would highly recommend.

Fence Stakes
These stakes were used to secure our chain link fence where our dog was digging to get out. So far they work very well. When the ground was soft and wet they pulled out easily but the dog could not pull them out. Once the ground dried up it was fine. We had to put them close together in the places where the fence is not buried and that worked well. I would use them again and buy more if I needed them. They did the trick.I might buy longer than one foot next time just in case.

Strong with Good Holding Power
These were thicker and more sturdy than I expected which was great for my application - holding/staking custom made wooden lawn edging. I could pound these into the ground with a hammer and they gripped very nicely. Worked great!Only modification I had to do is slightly bend the hook with a pair of pliers (easy to do!) and make the hook side parallel to the stack side - they come with a slight flare. But for my special application the parallel bend made the hook fit into a drilled hole in the edging.

Easier to Install than Expected
I bought these in order to secure the bottom of a welded wire fence that is stapled to a cedar-rail fence to keep a puppy in the yard. When I bought the first pack, I thought they would be overkill. However, after installing them, I am glad I purchased these instead of shorter stakes, which I now think would be too short to prevent digging escapes. I live in Colorado, and installing the first pack of stakes was very simple due to a wet spring (only one of them bent during installation). However, I had a number of stakes from the second pack start to bend, probably due to a dry June. After the third bent stake, I took my hose out to the fence and let it run for ~10 minutes, saturating the clay that I was trying to hammer the stakes into. Then I took the bent stake, and twisted it, moved it in and out of the existing hole to get even more water to saturate the soil. After doing this for the bent stakes (and all further stakes I needed to install that day), no more of them bent during installation. I ended up putting a total of 3 stakes per 10' fence section (2.5' spacing), and it seems to be more than adequate for our dog, although she hasn't really been trying to dig under the fence yet. Each stake took me about 1 minute to hammer fully into the ground, and perhaps 2 minutes for the second package since I had to occasionally wiggle the stakes every now and then to ensure the soil was saturated with water.

Good for securing bottom of chain link fence to keep dog in
I have had problems with my dog breaking the ties on the bottom tension wire and getting through the fence. I got these for some of the areas she has managed to escape from. As long as the ground is soft they go in nicely. They do bend once you hit hard dirt but I still managed to make them work. Soaking the ground does help and I have actually gone around and ponded them down further after a rain. My dog has managed to pull one of these up but overall it has helped.

Bent on me
I got these to keep our new dog from digging under the fence. I loved their length and they seemed pretty sturdy and solid. I drove one into the semi-soft ground with a mini sledge and a little over halfway in, it bent. So I watered the ground to make sure it was soft and switched to a rubber mallet. Same thing. I had the best results honesty just using my foot and gently transferring my weight (stepping) on it. Maybe it is the length, maybe it hit a rock, but I was surprised because these seemed pretty heavy duty. I got them to work, but it required a little finesse, which isn't what you expect with metal fence stakes.

Dog No Longer "Sweeps" the Fence Out
These were effective in preventing out 7 month old Labrador Retriever from pushing the fence outward, and sliding underneath. However, we were worried that she might be smart enough to overcome this. Our solution...We dug a bottle-sized hole in the ground, pushed the stake in - then filled the hole with concrete! Worked like a charm, the bottom of the fence is now immovable. The stake has some bends in it, which help the concrete form more securely around them. We placed these approximately every 3 feet.

Excellent! As described. Keeps bottom of chain link fence nice and tight to the ground. Highly recommend for keeping animals in and out. I use it to keep my dogs in my yard. Both dogs are stocky medium build. Thanks!

Works for fence strengthening
Easy to use and worked well for the purpose of reinforcing a fence that our dogs kept sneaking under. Fore reference, we have a 50lb golden doodle and a 30lbs schnauzer.

Works great. Some were duds (bent funny when pounded in so they couldn't be used), but it averaged out to maybe one per pack that was like that so still worth it
