We like the weight of the pan. We do use Pam for better non stick cooking and hand wash the pan in the sink as the dishwasher pods we use are very hard on aluminum.

My first pan was a hand-me-down from my Mom, and I loved it! After many years, it started to show some wear---somehow we got a few scratches on the surface. When I saw that I could get the exact pan at a very good price (there was a sale, it was less than $20), I jumped at the chance.I did the "seasoning" as suggested, and so far (we've had it about a month so far and use it almost every day) not a single thing has stuck or burned. Have not had to use the "rough" side of the sponge to clean it, and hopefully never will.They suggest you season your pan at least twice a year, and I'm planning on doing that, to keep it clean and beautiful and smooth!

I use this fry pan everyday. Nothing sticks. I go through fry pans every 3-6 months. Not this one. It looks like it should last for years. Cannot believe how wonderful this pan is. As a gourmet cook I put it through its paces. This is the only pan I will use from now on.After 60 years of cooking, nothing I have used stood the test of time but this pan. I plan to buy the whole set.

NOPE, not even close. It's only 1.75" deep and I informed Amazon twice about this error on their ad. A week later and they still can't seem to get around to correcting the information.Actually, the pan is pretty good PROVIDED that you take excellent and diligent care of it. That means no steel tools, washing it promptly before your leftovers start sticking and you get tempted to use abrasive scrub pads which will start deteriorating the non-stick finish. And you don't set things in the pan that will scratch it. I'm sure that some people live up to all this and the pan will last them 4 - 6l years. That has not included me, because I got one of these pans a couple of years ago and I've not taken real good care of it that's why I ordered another one. But $20 for an excellent frying pan every couple of years or so is not an extravagance. I really love having a square pan; it just makes so much more sense. Similarly, I love square and rectangular food storage containers; so nice from a volumetric efficiency standpoint versus round ones in the refrigerator.

I bought this cause my wife saw it in a store. I'm so happy I listened because this pan is epic, legendary, down right mythical in its amazingness!!!! I have found so many different uses for this one pan, I'm in shock at how easy it is to clean and maintain. I've burnt the life out of a few meals and the pan looked destroyed....some hot water and a sponge and BAM it looks damn near brand new!!!Do yourself and your friends and buy one, gift one whatever use buy it and see the epicness yourself.

Like cast iron you need to season the pan every 6 months. You can fry eggs in this pan without oil or butter and nothing sticks. I like butter flavor though so I still use a bit. I had one of these before and it lasted 10 years. I didn't season it and eventually the surface broke down. 10 years is pretty good considering my neglect.So worth the price. Highly recommended

I have cooked fried eggs with no butter or oil & scrambled eggs. They slid out just like on TV & did not stick. I only had to wipe the pan out with a paper towel. My daughter in law has 3 different Red Copper Pans & is crazy about them. Loves to do steaks in them. I have no idea why any of the bad reviews. I seasoned the pan with the required vegetable oil (in fact I had other oil in the house, but chose to get the recommended kind). It showed on TV putting it in the dishwasher, but my info said to use water & mild detergent. I just use a paper towel & wipe it out. I was recently widowed & found cooking for one to be such a big deal. This pan changes everything for me! Love it!

Delivered with 2 dents in pan. Didn't break the non stick surface so I didn't go to the trouble of returning. Food generally doesn't stick too bad, but this material is not magic as eggs do stick. This square pan is about 3/4 of an inch too small as you can just fit 4 pieces of bread in it but leaves no room for a spatula to flip the bread. Only redeeming quality is my wife likes it so she doesn't drown our food in non stick spray like when using others pans. We have 2 other red copper pans that have begun to stick horribly even after going through the re-curing process. If you ever overheat one it seems to lose it's non stick super powers. I wouldn't spend my money on another one.
