So after being homeless and not having anything I've been slowly getting things back and I'm so happy I purchased this pie plate because my first Thanksgiving for my family, I was able to make an amazing pie. It's sturdy and it's much better than glass that I had before I'll probably purchase one more in case I have to make two pies. It's a beautiful dish and my pie came out perfect but I thought the dish to be a bit heavy, I will still use it but with the weight I am afraid I will drop it that would be a shame
