Iron Pipe Lamp Socket That fits 1/2 inch Iron Pipe (NPT)

Solid product. Wiring and connections are strong and bulbs are working.

I bought this for a commision on a iron pipe lamp and it fit my needs perfectly. Keep in mind that you do have to pre-twist the wiring counterclockwise before tightening the fixture onto the rest of the steel pipe if you want the wires to end up straight when assembled. Cord was plenty long to connect to the rest of the wiring - great fit and great quality. Would buy again.

Works great looks good… threads are a bit loose not like typical tapered pipe threads but work great.

Great find that addresses a need when using gas pipe in lamps. Attached perfectly to a 1/2" nipple and then to a base. Allows for a seamless and functional connection between pipe and bulb in a secure and safe manner. Purchased 2 more immediately for future use. Highly recommend.

Nicely made, but wiring pigtails should be longer. For my application, I had to make connections to go inside 1/2 pipe - would have been nice if the wires would have reached the junction box. Also, a little pricey when you consider the components.

Worked out great. Way better than PVC painted like some had suggested. They fit 1/2 pipe perfect. One was broken on delivery but they replaced next day.

I thought the socket was overpriced but if you need it you need it the problem is no competition. Should have come with 12 inches of wire instead of 6 in. Other than that it is a good product. I used it to make a pipe light fixture over the mirror in the bathroom.
