Haven't used it yet, but it seems to be a quality product made of quality materials. I rolled mine up for my IFAK. Fits great. One more emergency I'm now prepared for. Great value. Prefer the "not orange" gray color. Exactly as stated. I definitely recommend this for everyone's first aid kit whether for camping or your B.O.B. Ya never know.

I was very pleased with this product. I was glad that it appeared similar if not exactly the same as a pricier SAM splint. I purchased two and added to a couple of hiking 1st aid kits for my son and I. Hopefully I never have to use these in the field, however, if I do, I expect these splints to perform well.

This is the equivalent of most soft splints in it's category. What I like about this is it is flat packaged and folded twice approx 6"x6" which fits nicely in a rip-away IFAK pouch.Most soft splints have instructions printed on them and this product does not clearly communicate that. However, it does in fact have instructions printed on the surface, but it is not easy to see. Now you can argue that the user should be proficient in the use of the splint therefore negating the need for printed instructions and you could be right, but if you're not at that level and need the instructions it would be hard to see for that reason alone it gets 4 stars.

haven't used it in a real emergency but i tried several configurations on a healthy volunteer. works just like the other stuff. feels the same, too. as others have stated, it packs better when rolled up. can be cut as well. terrific splint.

A splint is a splint and this one appears to be like a lot of others. Good price. Hope i don't have to use it.

Perfect to have on hand, in a first aid kit or to take on a hike.Stiff enough to isolate, yet flexible and foldable. Surprisingly easy to cut. I’ve used it in the past for jammed fingers and thankfully I’ve never had to use it for an arm or leg, but it’s big enough if that ever happens.

Only difference seems to be padding isn’t as thick as Sam. But way cheaper so worth it! Love lightning x, got my gun shot kit from them too. Oorah
