Very good camera and well within the budget, can improve more
I travel a lot and usually leave my 2 tilt and pan camera's which I bought in US switched on in my house when I travel. I needed 1 more camera for the terrace door of my house and bought this camera from Srihome as the price of this camera is less when compared to other brands that I own and had almost the same features. After trying this camera I must say it was at par with all other top branded tilt/pan camera. My requirement was a camera that can pan and tilt, work at night and most importantly I wanted human detection alert. The reason for human detection alert was I was getting alerts with my other cameras even when small insects fly inside my home but this SriHome camera SH025 has humanoid detection which detects and alerts only if the camera detects a human. The package was simple but packed well so the camera came intact. There were some screws and plastic anchors to fix on the wall and the camera base had holes for fixing to the wall screws. There was a USB cable of 1 meter length and an adapter. The setup was a breeze with this SH025, all I had to do was plugin the camera, download and login to the SriHome app, add camera using Wifi and QR code given on a sticker at the base of the camera. Then I toggled various settings and alerts. Though the setup was simple I wish there were voice prompts in the camera and app like my other camera brands that I own. The camera connects only to 2.5Ghz which is the default in all modems/routers and not to the 5Ghz Wifi band. The camera had features of tracking motion only in a particular specific area or the whole screen, detecting all motions or detecting only humans, recording only motions or continuous recording, watching multiple (4) camera at the same time, making an area private so video shows a blacked out box for the private area, recording at FullHD, has 2 way audio conversation so people can talk & listen to camera and talk & listen on the app and vice versa, app has profiles for specific visitors who can watch but not modify settings, rotating the camera from the app itself, camera can work offline by connecting phone to camera with a AP hotspot option and finally the IR night vision so videos are clear at night.Though Night mode was good I wish the IR lights in the camera were a bit more stealthy, it's not bright but I was able to notice the circular red IR LEDs. Also the night mode lighting is focussed at 1 area like a circle and the entire room does not light up like my existing camera. So I had to intially setup the camera to look at the door for better possibility of detecting human.Initially I had trouble with humanoid detection and camera didn't track me, but once I changed the sensitivity level it started working. When humanoid alert alone is turned on there are no alerts for waving a hand or objects moving and only when human or even upper half of human is detected i got an alarm. The HD mode was better than SD but there is a slight lag of 1 sec when viewing camera from outside network and within same WiFi network there was less than 1 sec (half a second maybe) of lag.I noticed that while on continuous recording the old videos on SD card get overwritten which is the default with any security camera with a SD card. So it's better to use a bigger SD card if continuous recording is required or better use record only when motion detected option. I always use the motion detection recording so my existing 4GB card was more than enough and should be okay. The camera movement is very smooth and was almost silent, can rotate 90 degrees vertically, 355 degrees horizontally. When motion is detected in the camera automatically pans or tilts and tracks the subject and starts recording to the SD card. The camera didn’t come with an SD card but I guess it has some inbuilt storage as I was able to record and take snapshots from the app without the SD card.Though SD card is a good mechanism for storing, I wish there was an option for Cloud storage too where the video can be uploaded to a cloud service, even it was a paid one I would have opted, but this is not a deal breaker for me as the app alerts are great and videos and pictures also gets stored on the phone when motion is detected. The alert says, alarm detected in my phone from the SriHome app, I wish it took a snapshot automatically along with recording video for a quick lookup in case video takes long time to download from camera to phone.Overall, like I mentioned about the area of improvements or cons, wider night mode lighting, more stealthy IR LEDs, voice prompts, cloud recording can be improved in this camera but for the price and considering all other features I feel this SriHome SH025 camera is worthy in my perspective.

Could have been best, had there been a buzzer option
Been using since about a week or so. My old 8gb memory card is compatible with this. It stores videos on the memory card in chunks of 10mins and 3 seconds. I have kept it on the table in my garage, with a view of the shutter entrance. Good video clarity. Sound is ok ok type. Can be used as a walkie talkie on a child or a grandpa, when they are alone at home. It does record videos without internet, provided you have put a microsd card. Even without wifi, you can see live video, but your phone should be in sufficient reach from the camera's own wifi. I wish I could ring some alarm like a buzzer or something, if ever I see someone on the camera. Though, I can shout at the intruder through the phone via the camera's speaker. I also wish for integrating this camera with amazon alexa. I have faced some minor problems, like the camera restarting due to no reason sometimes. Due to this, I don't think this camera would be a reliable option for high value businesses like a jewellery store or a branded supermarket. Can be used for basic surveillance purposes if you want a low cost, no stakes involved kind of solution for your home or small office. No need of costly wiring. Just keep your camera always connected to power supply via micro usb. Even your laptop usb port works just fine. By the way, by its name, 'Sri', I thought it's an Indian brand. But it's clearly based in Shenzhen, China. You can check it from their website. I also wish for live video through the desktop, with a browser extension or something like that. Apps won't always be useful. Though I can just take out the microsd card and put it in my laptop to view all recorded videos. It's in AVI format. Go for it, if you just want to have a fun, cheap and good - for - its - price CCTV camera.

Useful camera for given price
I bought the camera for monitoring the entrance of the house. This is my review after a few months usage.-Features:>Build/Installation: The camera itself is built well and there were no issues installing and setting it up.>Storage: I used a 32gb card and was able to record around 3-4 days of video easily.>Video: The video quality is good considering it's a 2MP camera. Faces of people are legible.>Audio: Audio is okay but I often hear some rumbling noises coming from the feed constantly which may be due to environment factors but cannot say for sure. The two way communication works as expected.> Software: The provided app does the job most of the time. Whenever the camera restarts after power outage, the timezone is set to default and we need to change to IST. Sometimes when opening a feed it takes a while to load and you may need to restart.-Issues:The main issue however is the object detection. It is too sensitive and keeps picking up even passing cars or other noises even when not visible in video. This results in too many notifications in the mobile app which can get annoying. So we had to turn notifications off. Also this camera does not have ONVIF so you cannot monitor the feed using any other clients but the one provided. The camera is good enough for the given price. If you don't have much need of notifications, it is a viable option.

Surveillance for your child and property when you are away from both.
This is a good camera for surveillance through wifi internet connnection. HD picture quality is good for reviewing purpose. Night vision is also very good even when there is no light. Camera humnoid tracking feature is also good which automatically rotates camera towards moving object.Drawback:Live footage can be viewed ONLY on ONE mobile SRICAM app at one time. If another user tries to view the camera live footage then previous user gets logged off from the camera app automatically. There is NO inbuilt battery mechanism therefore continuous power supply is must.Whenever u start SRICAM app to watch live footage, it starts in SD mode and u have to MANUALLY select the HD mode everytime u open the app which is annoying sometimes. There is NO option to connect camera to your tv, if there was a micro HDMI port then it would have been great and there would be no need to use the mobile everytime.Speaker sound level could be better. However, two way communication is good over wifi.SRICAM camera footage data transmits through cloud servers amd therefore the speed is slow when you are not on the same wifi network and the video turnsout to be little shaky.CONCLUSIONThis camera is value for money in many ways. But must be used only in small rooms. I have installed it in a room size 10ft × 10 ft.
