This is a clean, modern design light that is dimmable and can also be set to your desired color temperature. It's easy to set the modes using the supplied remote control and after getting a link to the correct App from YisDesign support I've been able to control it from my phone. (The QR code on the included remote instructions didn't get me to anything. It linked to a non-working unknown IP address, not a domain name, so it seemed fishy).The Android app is available on the Google Play Store under the name LampSmart Pro. To add the light, click on the + symbol in the app and after naming your new light, click on the middle-right button (with the Bluetooth symbol beneath the concentric circles) within 15 seconds of powering on your light. The light will blink and should then be controllable from the app.I did have a difficult time getting all the excess wire in the ceiling canopy. I'd like to see something to secure the excess wire to within the canopy, but this is a one-time thing so it's not really that important.To set the hanging height, just tighten the plastic thumb screws just enough to securely grab the coating on the cable. Don't try to snug it down too much.I have mine installed with a switch that is controlled by Home Assistant so when turning off and on, the lamp does restore to the last used brightness and color temperature. After it's on, at this point I have to control it from the remote or the separate phone app. I haven't yet found a way to control it via Home Assistant directly, but since it operates off of Bluetooth, it should be possible.

The reviews for this had me worried, especially about installation. Installation is a snap! That said, due to the size, it helps to have a helper for final wiring step...unless you have three hands!As for the dimmer, mine works fine on an existing dimmer switch for direct on or off, but the remote unit is wonderful so you never have to use the wall switch again. The remote covers every range of color temperature and dims beautifully. The photo is showing the light at less than 50%! Frankly, it's almost too bright at full which is great for close work, etc. Also, the ambient light covers a wide area.The height adjusting screws are plastic, but can be tightened by hand with no problem. Think a screwdriver might very well break them so don't use one. Not needed!Finally, this a REAL wooden fixture and looks great on or off! A well made product all around!!

Relatively easy install, sleek look, quality build. Looks great in my mostly mid century modern dining room. The height adjustment could be better. I have a similar one in my kitchen that works with spring loaded rollers, you just pull or push to raise or lower. This one requires locking screws, which is a bit tedious, but I still love the light.

This is a very beautiful light. Real wood fixture and even a real wood canopy. Just beautiful! Sadly after about 3 hours the electrical went out in the light and it went from its brightest light and whitest color to something dim, and yellow. Since I’m using for a billards light. Removing and replacing the light electrical even if supplied by the manufacturer the job to pull the light, change and replace the light is not worth it. If the manufacturer can improve the reliability of the electronics this is a 10+ star light fixture.

Looks better in person than in the photos which is rare. Excellent quality and craftmanship with flawless fit and finish. Installed in small office over desk area. Really like the adjustable settings via the remote- a feature typically found on much more expensive light fixtures. Also like how it can be set at a wide range distances from the ceiling during install.

We were excited to receive this light and when it arrived the cords that it hangs on are 2 different sizes. I gave a product review that I was not happy. Then later figured out why and it looks great. Ones is the power side. ANYWAY i did not change the review. POINT is the Seller responded to my post ans i am just now seeing this.In Short.... Nice product and the seller has EXCELLENT Customer service. Thanks!!!:) BUY the Light you will not regret it.

This attractive light fixture is controlled with a remote (2 AAA batteries not included) that allows many options, like brightness, color, timer and more. Sadly, the installation was difficult. The included instructions were minimal and poor. The help-website listed repeatedly returned an error message. The documentation referenced blue and brown wires in the fixture that did not exist. Black and white were present to connect to existing ceiling power supply. Adjusting the hardware for mounting fixture to the electrical junction box was trial and error; poor instructions. We determined we needed 30 inch cable lengths (one has the power supply to the LED). The unused cable had to be gathered and placed inside a cavity in the ceiling mounted part of the fixture. This was a challenge too. I understand that they have to provide enough cable(wire) to allow for various application scenarios. We decided to coil the excess and used zip ties to keep the coils tight and away from the holes for the mounting screws. A functional video link would have helped immeasurably! Also a Google Search and a YouTube search produced a few videos but nothing in depth or helpful about installation. Also, we had a pre-existing rheostat switch on the wall. Do not use this fixture with a rheostat. Only use the included remote. When the job was finally completed, the light fixture and its function was a thumbs up. Installation however, gets only one stars and a thumbs down. If you got the time and wherewithal to deal with the above mentioned, it is worthwhile in the end.

I’m very pleased- looks good and works as expected. As others have noted installing it wasn’t hard, but it takes a bit of fiddling to cram the wires into the ceiling unit. My lamp hangs fairly low (so I didn’t need to cram so much in) but I could imagine this being a pain if the lamp is mounted close to the ceiling.
