It was already programmed for my cable box & only took seconds to program to tv. Now Mom can see to change channels & it's easy for her to use. Love It.

Good product for the $$. Saves you trouble to call Spectrum. My remote got old, some buttons didn’t work good( probably just dirt in the connection) so got this one. Works perfectly, but you need to follow instructions thoroughly to pair it with your TV. After a couple of tries it was a success.

Not sure why every new remote has to have smaller and smaller buttons. Plus they try to make everything "universal" so you have a dozen buttons you never use.This remote is still "universal" but only 3 items, so fewer buttons.My mom is 84, has macular-degeneration and has a poor sense of touch due to her diabetes. We've gone through 6 different remotes trying to find one that she can use. This one is almost perfect.Most of the buttons are easier to see due to the contrast with the remote body.It's a good size, so it's easier to hold & use.And it's durable! She tends to drop things...Still has a few extra buttons that get hit on accident but it's much better than the previous remotes.

I bought these to replace a Spectrum remote one of my dogs went to town on. Worked on my tv and cable box right out of the bag, lol! And no trip to/wait at my local Spectrum.
