Appletree Design Chef and Lady Salt and Pepper Set, 4-Inch

This salt and pepper set is so very cute and whimsical. I purchased it for a friend for her birthday so I can't address the humidity issues some have had. It is much more sturdy than I thought it would be and not surprisingly because it is inly 4 inches, the holes are small so fine pepper and regular salt will need to be used which won't be a problem.

Perfect for the Ladies Dinner Club

These adorable ladies are exactly as they appear with bright colors and a nice ceramic finish. Beautifully, carefully, and safely packed. Small problem: nothing to indicate the salt or pepper. Both have three holes the same size.

The first set that came had to be replaced due to the mailman smashing it in transit. The second set came in one piece, I must say regardless of usability they are very cute. Sadly I’ve been unable to use them, the salt clumps in a giant hard mass inside the shaker and the pepper does the same. I’ve never had this issue before. I even tried rice but it didn’t work. So great in the looks department they just can’t be used.
