ES934 Electrostatic Lint Screen (Qty. 2) for VacuMaid Central Vacuums

GREAT item for your VacuMaid central vac! If you perform proper maintenance on your central vac(and your unit is like mine), you have to reach WAAAY up inside and clean the lint screen. Major PITN. This item promises to alleviate this chore.The screen is very much like a Scotch-Bright pad. It is installed over the lint screen and catches all the jetsam and flotsam before it cloggs the screen. When you empty the catch can, you remove the dirty pad and replace it with a fresh one.The set comes with two re-usable pads. Having two, saves down-time when emptying the can. The dirty pad is cleaned with soap and water and allowed to air dry.UPDATE: After 6 months of use; the product works as advertised but be aware the pads get clogged and need to be swapped out and cleaned. The vac motor will sound strained and suction will diminish. These add to vacuum maintenance.

Perfect fit for the replacement filter. The vacuum worked much better now that I have replaced the filter. Now I have a clean floor.

Does the job but kind of a pain to replace and clean.

2 of the eight filters i ordered appear to be the right thickness, the other 6 are only about 1/4 thick. won't filter much dirt that way!
