Horrible!
This is the most poorly designed toy I have ever had the displeasure of working with. This was a gift for my son and was supposed to be a fun project for us to work on together. Very disappointing!! Forget about the poor instructions. Once you study the diagrams long enough and figure out how to put this together, the real nightmare begins! The stands that support the rails do not anchor into the base plate. They just kind of loosely float in their corresponding holes. This provides zero stability as you install the rails. As you attempt to install the rail, the tension from it will likely cause the entire stand dislodge in addition to knocking out other adjacent stands. At one point, almost half of the stands became dislodged when I tried to snap part of the rail into its bracket, nullifying a significant amount of my previous work. Every attempt to install the rail resulted in more stands getting dislodged including those that the rail was attached to. If you enjoy misery and frustration, this is a fantastic product for you! This might be appropriate for someone who enjoys that kind of endless tinkering. It might also be of some benefit if you are looking to decrease the existing quality of your life. If you are looking for a fun project with a reasonable assembly, this isn't it! I personally find a toy that requires construction, whose design prevents it from being constructed unacceptable!! The seller however, offered to refund it without any problem.

Toss the instructions...you'll have way more fun!
Yes, the instructions aren't the best and the little rail support arms have several pieces to be assembled one by one before the fun starts. At that point, I think the better way to "play" with space rail is to toss the instructions and just experiment with rail paths. In this way, the build process becomes completely creative and experimental rather than following a plan. Put down some track and test run a marble. Maybe the turn needs more angle so the marble doesn't fly off, or maybe it needs more speed to make it through a dip? The building becomes very intuitive and kids quickly start to understand how to build better and better tracks. You won't learn as much or have as much fun following the instructions. The track and pieces are cheap and easy to purchase more of if needed. Have fun!

Toy for Techies with Patience
Great toy! Instructions a bit hard to follow. Track connection pins are too small and not very useful. Once pieces start coming together, assembly and design become fairly intuitive.

My Grandson was disappointed with it
Cheaply made. Not at all what I expected. My Grandson was disappointed with it. And it was a Christmas gift from us.

Awful. Just awful.
So bad. Ridiculously painful to work on. Run as far from this set and others like it as possible. The directions – such as they are – are in indecipherable English from an awful Chinese translation, i.e. gibberish.

I love this thing! You need time and patience. If those 2 isn't your thing, don't try it.
