I have just finished installing a complete system in my daughters 1993 Lexus ls 400 head unit has a dvd player mostly for the grand son so he can watch his movies while in the car and while driving it's no nice to have the little ones calm and quiet and with this dvd player bypass it plays while the car is in motion and with out it would only play with the car stopped and emergency brake set so if any one of you out there is looking to get your dvd player to play while your driving this is a very easy 3 wire bypass that works perfectly I do recommend it to anyone who is wanting to get more from there head unit dvd player. I liked the idea of not having to use the parking brake on my vehicle to watch video on my car. I didn't follow the instructions so had to do it twice following the directions. The wires from the adapter were wrong as a video instructed me to do. The wires from the radio worked just right.

Easy to install wiring and clear instructions but did not work. I suspect that this does not work for all alpine stereos as other similar models require 4 wires to connect and this one has 3. Description should include what models it covers and which ones it excludes.

Worked for 5 minutes. After putting my car all back together it stopped working , still would light up green but didn’t do what it says it’s does , lucky I had another brand on stand by and it worked and is still working
