yes,this security camera system needs internet,you need use a net cable to connect the DVR and router.

Q: I recently purchased this, hooked it up, worked for 1 day, then says hdmi input not recognized. Goes to the fredi Home logo screen. What’s wrong?

Did you buy a hard drive? Cause it comes with out one. Plus I will never buy this brand again, just too difficult to rewind and see

Q: Can you turn off the ir lights? Because it's reflecting off my glass.

sorry,sir,the IR lights for this security camera system turn on actomatically when the light is dim,it is the night version.so it can't be turn off.
