I just purchased dark walnut for a strat body and dark vintage maple for the maple neck. how much dye and water/alcohol should be used for each part?

These are very concentrated and strong. I usually take a bunch of empty jars and put about half cup of denatured alcohol into each and do a variety of concentrations and then test on scrap wood. it may take only a 1/4 teaspoon of dye to get the desired depth. Take note of every teaspoon and drops you use so you can repeat if necessary.

Can I use this to even out color over wood that I oil stained and looks blotchy?

It is an extremely dense dye and it will darken the light and dark areas, so you must be careful. You may have problems due to the oil stain as this works best as an alcohol or water dye.

I need to darken tile grout. Can I mix this in a water based tile sealer?

It is a water base friendly product but I have never tried that. I think it would work but try it in a small portion of your material to see first! Use small portions meaning "drops."

Can I tint linseed oil with this?

You might go to the website for clearer direction. I used denatured alcohol on pine wood then went back and used a urathane sealer I would think the linseed oil would tint ok but you would need to mix in throughout
