Great cable at a great cost.
Most of the USB A to USB C cables available are USB 2.0, not 3.0. These are USB 3.0, so they get great power and data transfer rates. We're using them with Galaxy phones, iPhones, and Kindles, and they work flawlessly for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. These braided cables should also be strong enough to stand up to the abuse my kids subject them to. Time will tell, but so far, so good. I didn't notice they come in a shorter length. Otherwise, I might have ordered two shorter ones for the car, but the price on the 6-foot is good enough that I'll just coil up the slack.

Longer USB-C cable for use with USB power adapters.
With most devices that require additional power, even IF a cable is supplied, since it's assumed you'll be using a nearby USB port instead of a power outlet, the supplied cable is almost always too short. Next size up from three feet is six, so have purchased these six foot+ versions as replacements for too-short USB-C power cables. Success every time!
