Rust-Oleum 251572 Automotive Adhesion Promoter Spray, 11 oz, Clear

Seems to work well. Don't rely on this stuff to clean a plastic surface; a brush/rag and any cleaner whatsoever will do that. Dawn, Greased Lightning, mineral spirits, TSP, whatever. This won't hide surface flaws either; that's a job for your topcoat and your mechanical surface prep.This is just a can of mixed solvents and a propellant. It softens/opens the surface a bit to help "paint" stick better. You want to wet the surface well and it won't telegraph its runs as it has NO buildup at all. Spray it on and lay on your topcoat as soon as all liquid actually disappears.

Used for painting new previously unpainted auto interior plastics and also to paint over some exterior paint. Works very well on the fresh plastic adhesion properties are very apparent after about 1 month. On exterior it has only been 2 weeks but I’m pleasantly surprised thus far I just painted the really low front nose inlet ports on a C5 corvette satan black and it’s holding up. I recommend for most any hobby project but maybe could use on pro level stuff too

it worked really well for prep and was pretty easy to use. It dried fairly quickly and seems like it is some quality stuff. They give you a lot so you feel like it’s a good value. no complaints from me because it worked great.

This primer adheres well and is sandable. I use it before painting any metal now. Adds a little time and work, but the paint ends up sticking better and is much more smooth.

It take a long time to really evaluate. YEARS
