I looked at many, many clocks before deciding on this one. For the money, I don’t think you’ll find one that looks as good or performs better. For starters, the frame appears to be actual wood and is finished in a rich reddish brown stain. The case is clear and non-reflective, and the face of the clock is white with simple black numbers in an easy to read bold font. But the thing that really makes this clock so much nicer and more elegant is its simplicity - no writing or logo on the face, just black numerals and hands on a white face.

The sellers of our house left a clock that I hated. It finally fell off the wall and cracked, so I bought this one as a replacement. It's lovely and coordinates well with my mid-century modern furniture. It's also very easy to read from a distance. I love that it's real wood. Be aware that the mechanism in the back causes the clock to sit a little forward (1/2" at most) of the actual wall. Not an issue for us, but it might be a surprise to others.

I like that there isn’t a generic name written on the clock- it is simple and basic. The movement is fluid- no ticking sound. It has kept the time for months now and no issues. It looks classy. Not a huge clock, but easy to read and a good size for a kitchen or office area.

I really like the design of this clock- the wood frame is beautiful, the font of the numbers reminds me of a classy vintage watch, and there is no distracting logo or name on the face. The high contrast of the numbers makes it easy to read the time without glasses on and in low light. I looked at hundreds of clock designs before I chose this one. I really needed a silent clock because the old one I had would drive me crazy when I wake up in the night.This one was absolutely silent for about 6 weeks, just past the return date, and then it started making a strange mechanical sound like a boat motor idling in the distance. Although it is not as loud as the ticking of my old clock, it is definitely not silent anymore. I like it enough to try to replace the inner workings eventually, I just haven't had the time yet. Really wish it were silent still.

I hung it high up on the wall in the master bathroom, so that I could see it over the shower door closure. I always PLAN to take an efficient duration shower, but some how come out shocked that so much time went by and now I'm too close to late or now am late getting out of the house on time. I have poor vision with out my glasses or contacts in, but the numbers on this clock are big and bold enough for me to be able to see while showering with MUCH better time management. Love to brown wood frame of clock as it ties in decor wise with my wood linen/storage shelves. I make sure I either have a window open or the ceiling vent on so that I don't expose the clock to too much moisture. Very glad I ordered this clock, it was just what I needed.

I love the look of this clock for my kitchen. Initially, I was super happy with it. By month 3 it was running slow, so I changed the battery. Hmmm…running slow again after another month or so. New battery again. Now at 5 months I see it’s 11 minutes slow. Great looking, with a crap mechanism.

Keeps great time, is perfectly silent, looks expensive.

With all the digital clocks in our life, our kids are having a hard time understanding the concept of time. So it's back to basics! This clock is both beautiful and functional. It shows the minutes, military time and the short and long hands are easy to differentiate.
