ROKR 3D Wooden Puzzle Solar Power Kits Mechanical Engineering for Teens and Adults STEM Project to Build(Harbinger Rover)

I can say that it was super easy to assemble. It isn’t. It’s a challenge. The parts are small and the wood will break with too much force. But that is what I like! It’s a challenge. When completed, it’s super cool!!

The media could not be loaded.  The wood parts are of good quality and very well cut. The fit of the parts was good, there are a couple places where there is a tight fit and parts can be broken if forced. They do give you a few extra parts in case of a problem and a bit of glue will fix most broken parts if you do break one. This kit is a bit difficult for beginners, I would recommend some modeling experience or adult help assembling it. A good model knife is useful for trimming the small flash where the part was connected to the sheet, also for cutting the dowels to length. The model ran first try, and is fairly fast running under full sun. It's a nice kit, fun to build and good looking when finished.

The front wheel attachment is very weak. IT is easily brokenother than that it works great

Was concerned the solar was not working but it worked in the end, just needed some adjustments, I've made a handful kits by Rokr, they have kept me sane during the covid-19 pandemic. I would definitely recommend this, some parts were harder than others you just need to go slow and not force it.

I gave this as a gift to a young boy who is obsessed with trucks, planes and technology in general. He also enjoys puzzles and legos. This product is intrinsically educational--revealing the wonder of solo power--as well as providing a couple hours of quiet problem solving through the puzzle-like assembly. For the right kid (or adult!) the assembly is just complex enough to be satisfying, but not too difficult to be frustrating. I could see these being excellent teaching tools for small or large groups of students in STEM afterschool programs or even as part of a science curriculum. There is no better way to learn about physics, solar power, or mechanics than doing this interactive kind of work that is also fun!

Bought this for my boyfriend and he loved it. He said that assembly was a little difficult because he’s figures started to hurt from the wood. Other than that he loved it and had it built in no time and it’s solar powered 😱. I just bought another from this line for his Christmas gift.

I've built 3 of these ROKR kits and they are great. The directions are easy to follow and lots of fun to assemble, especially with my teenagers.

I had a lot of fun building it but I only got a third way in before snapping a few pieces. Overall I enjoyed it.
