Here is a review you will want to read
Ok so let me start this review off with a bit of background. I’m a very black and white personality, typically I read reviews and research products extensively before purchasing them. I do this because I like to spend my money ONCE on a product that will fit my needs, meet or exceed my expectations, and will last. This chair falls short in two of those three categories but that is also expected at this price point.Chairs apparently can be really expensive. I have had a $100 staples chair before (computer gaming is my forte) that the shock went out on in 3 months of purchasing. The chair design was identical to this one with its folding arms and the way the chair was designed. I lived with it until I just purchased the green version of this chair to replace it. I knew upon doing some research that Harmon Millers and vertagear triiger chairs ($700-$1000 new) seem to be the “best of the best”, and all the $200-$400 gimmicky racing style chairs would be next in line. Problem is your not in a car so the design of those chairs is for appeal only. Funny considering my ass “stares” at the chair more than any pair of eyes do, so what purpose the gimmick serves in the race seats is beyond me. I can tell you the biggest advantage with a race style seat is quality, most have class for gas pistons, varieties of styles and colors, and the foam probably won’t ever deform or squish in the pricier versions. Still lots of money for a damn chair made of steel tubing a foam. Most chairs have garbage wrist rests too, which I think is out rageous you pay so much for a good looking chair and the arms are just plain and not padded....Anyways moving onto this chair, in order to understand the review you have to know what’s available at what price points. I got this chair on a terrific sale and decided I would rather spend $60 than 10x the amount on something else, even if this chair only lasts me a year which I think is about the life span of it.The foam is supportive but cheap, you can tell when you squeeze the headrest the foam inside is cheap. I have extensively used it for several days and I can tell that the black section of the seat the foam is already a bit looser than it was when I first opened the chair from the factory box. I can feel the board if I push on it, which means in time so will my butt.... The wrist rests are great, I love how they fold up so my chair can be pushed into my desk. Very important IMO, and the cushion is pretty good too. I can tell it will also wear in time and I’ll feel the plastic arm at some point, but for now it works (to make a note of this most chairs don’t even offer padding on the arms so huge plus to me for this chair). Basic casters, roll fine, basic gas shock that works for now, no off gassing of the chair, stitching is a bit off on the back side where there is a gap. Overall comfort is ok, my lower back hurt from my last chair since the padding in the seat wore out which doesn’t happen (yet) in this chair. Style of the chair is OK with me, everyone will have their opinion here but I enjoy the green. Only thing I noticed is the black section looks like a person; the head is on the back of the seat and their arms are reaching up only to have the same pattern repeat itself on the seat as if it was a shadow. Just looks like an outline of a person to me.So what am I saying in all of this, for $100 I would pass and save my money, double down and get a more expensive chair. I think it will last me a year or so, and if I found this chair on sale every year for $60 for the next 10 years and ordered it, that’s $600. I can purchased an open box new Aeron from Miller for that price and it will last me 10+ years and provide the ultimate comfort without sacrifice. So same amojnt of money spent, one over time, one up front, but up front you get a better product in the end if you can spend the cash. I say 3 stars because I knew going into this purchase it was a cheap chair, and it does work! Don’t get me wrong, for the sale price it’s worth it IF you don’t have the means or desire to spend more on a chair. But if you do keep looking. Chairs are hard to swallow why they can cost so much, as much as an iPhone for whatever the reason. But when you compare an iPhone with all its tech to a chair which is foam and steel, it’s a hard price to swalllow for any amount of hundreds spent on a chair. Some people use it daily though, those people need to move on from this chair for sure and spend that money. Casual gamers? Here’s your chair (when it’s on a good deal)!Hope this helps someone, chairs are straight forward. The more you pay does make the chair better but there is this $200-$400ish market of racer style seats that’s out of control in my opinion. That’s the gray area, spend the money on a Miller or vertagear or extensively research what you are going to purchase!

Not impressed, have tested further and edited
I bought this on sale for about $85. I thought it was a decent steal because the list price is supposed to be somewhere around $225. I haven't used it much yet, so I'll update when I have, but so far I'm not impressed at all and have saved the packaging for a possible return.**EDIT: I am coming back after a couple decent gaming sessions (around 4-6 hours). My ratings below have not changed. I do appreciate the way the lumbar actually fits my back, that is a huge plus for me. The chair is still harder than I would like, and it's not exactly comfortable, but it does provide good support - this may not work for your height / back shape though. Overall, my next step is to try to replace it with a spare chair from my office because they're 20x better (Workpro Quantum), otherwise, although not ideal, this isn't a terrible chair for $85.The main issue for me is that the arms are so wide. I can comfortably sit in the chair without using the arms (controller gaming), but anything like typing or gaming with mouse & keyboard ends up straining my upper back and shoulders because my arms are just holding themselves up. I have to seriously contort myself to be able to use the arms with a mouse/keyboard. Although not the chair's fault, this is exacerbated a lot because it doesn't work with my desk - the desk is just too high if the chair's height is adjusted properly for me, and even if I raise the chair, my legs get squished before the arms are the same height as the top of the desk.**Assembly 2/5I am good at putting things together. This chair only had 8 screws but putting the back on was infuriating. Take my advice, don't follow the instructions. Put one arm on the seat first, then attach the back to the seat/arm, then the other arm, then put it all on the base.Look 3/5It looks cheap. It looks like something I bought online for about $60. If it's really supposed to be worth over $200 then I'm pretty disappointed. It's not bad, but it definitely matches my vinyl covered particle board furniture.Comfort 3/5This is what I'm waiting on to see if I should return it. I'm planning a 4-6 hr gaming session this weekend to see how this chair holds up. So far, if worth over $200 I'm again disappointed. The mesh fabric is not as rough as some of the other reviews have said - I have very dry, fairly sensitive skin, and it's not satin or supple leather, but it's not sandpaper either. If you move your arms around a lot, or if it's humid, then it might get uncomfortable, but for most movements/resting it's fine. The padding feels non-existent. Even when putting it together I was surprised because I could feel it. When sitting down it feels like the middle back seat of a 2004 Cadillac CTS. In other words, it feels like you're sitting on a slab of rock covered in a thin jacket. It's not comfortable. It's not something you're going to sink into. At all. That being said, while sitting in it writing this review, the back pain I had after crouching over this thing during assembly and then stooping to do the dishes is going away. I've heard gaming chairs may be good for your back because they contribute to good posture. I've also heard the exact opposite. We shall see.Size 4/5Honestly this is where this chair rocks it. I am 5'3", petite but fit. If I'm sitting all the way back in the seat, the edge comes to just before my knees (literally about a millimeter) so probably not ideal, especially if you're shorter than me. However, the lumbar support is actually in my lower back and not in the middle so that's a huge score in my short book. The top of the back (neck rest?) hits just at the base of my skull (that divet just before your skull curves). It's much better than most seats, but I'd prefer it to be a couple inches lower so that my head could actually rest on the seat rather than against it. I'd also really like it if the arm rests were further in or wider because I can comfortable sit between them with a full 1-2 inches between my elbows and the rests. It's a bit awkward to actually use them because they're way too wide for me. On the plus side, that means the seat itself is the perfect size to sit cross-legged on.Adjustability 3/5Not quite as advertised. I expected to be able to lock the tilt in place but you can't. Other than the arms folding, this is the main thing I was excited for. You can: fold the arm rests back, rock the chair (seat and back as one unit), adjust the seat up and down, adjust the tension of the rocking, and lock the rocking in a full upright position. You cannot: lock the tilt anywhere but full upright, move the arms in any way except folded back, lean the seat back (increasing the angle of recline between seat bottom and back). I will say the chair rolls very easily which is nice.

wayyy more comfortable than I expected!
I had accepted that the chair is just a chair. I wasn't purchasing it for long term use. So I expected it to be not a real comfortable chair. Just.. something to sit in that wasn't a folding chair. The chair surpassed my expectations. The seat was not cheaply stuff. It actually felt comfortable to sit on.I purchased the purple version of this chair. Really pretty colors. Doesn't look like it just came off of a boat from China. The stitching looks pretty good. This would have gotten a better review. However, the box was horrible looking. I know it was a refurbed chair and all. But the way parts of the chair was poking holes in the box was insane. The hardware was visible. This is really my only criticism.

Easy and straight forward, just needs some persuasion!
As far as chairs go, this one doesn't have an edge cutting technology nor is it really lacking. It's just a comfortable chair. The height is adjustable, it rocks and both arm rests can swing all the way up or remain at a 90 angle. The rock tension is also adjustable. It looks pretty good and seems sturdy enough.I read the reviews and a big knock against this product is the assembly. The holes don't quite line up but this a problem with many products like this from various manufacturers so this minor problem isn't unique to this product. So expect some hassle there as I somewhat struggled but was able to complete the task by myself. Easiest way to do it is to start one bolt and let it catch the threads and then do the bolt, that way there's play as it's very loose. The allen key that came with the chair wasn't very helpful so I resorted to a Allen bit and cordless drill - but be careful! You can easily strip or cross thread a bolt. Slow and steady! Some reviews also said the bolts loosen up. I can see this being true if it was put together soley using the supplied allen key. If you access to a bit set, you can use a ratchet to tighten each bolt once assembled. So the reviews are genuine but sometimes a little extra effort is required. I like this chair and would buy another!

Awesome chair!
The included instructions were pretty straight forward and my son and I had the chair assembled in 20 mins. We did run into the same issue as other reviewers, with the chair back being a tight fit when assembling as per the instructions. Leaving one armrest fairly loose while positioning the chair back was a simple remedy and we had the chair completed in no time. This gaming chair looks and feels amazing! The leather is extremely soft, not sure if that's a good thing in terms of durability/wear, but I certainly love the feel. The green fabric is soft with a more textured feel. The green color is vibrant and accents the black leather nicely, so sexy! lolThe padding, especially in the seat, is thick and dense, making it very comfortable. After several sessions of continuous hours of use, there was no sign of back/bottom/leg fatigue nor deformation in the seat cushion. The armrests are sturdy and have the same textured fabric over padding, as the seat/back. They can be raised 90 degrees, aligning with the chair back. I really like this feature as it allows me to place the chair into/under the desk when not in use, without having to worry about clearence for the arms. This is also beneficial for those requiring a wider seating or playing guitar etc..Height adjustments, tilt and swivel all function as should. Caster wheels are basic, solid plastic and provide a smooth glide. This gaming chair does not come with all the "bells and whistles" of some of the much more expensive gaming chairs. Full recline, extendable footrest, removable/positionable head and lumbar cushions etc.. But this chair did not come with that hefty price tag either. I purchased this gaming chair while on-sale at $86, which is a steal!Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this gaming chair. Very comfortable, premium racing style design, soft leather/fabric materials, flip up arms.... I have yet to find a comparable chair at this price point. My only regret is not purchasing a 2nd while still on-sale. Will keep an eye on future sales and pick up 1 maybe 2(wife is jealous lol) more if given the chance.Definitely recommend this gaming chair. It's sexy! 5+ ★★★★★If you've found this review helpful, please click the button below. Thank you!

Very comfortable, but unfortunately didn't last long
I bought this chair a bit over a year ago. When I got it, it was perfect. It's an incredibly comfortable chair, its fun to sit in and provides great support. I've been a big fan of it. After about 8 months, the faux leather on the armrests began to crack and peel. It's slowly been coming off since. Now after only a year of ownership the chair broke. A small metal piece in the chair snapped, and the chair is practically unusable now. The chair's will rise up to its highest level and when sat on go all the way down. The chair wobbles and sitting in it is now an uncomfortable chore. Overall while I love the chair, its just not built to last.

Affordable Gaming Chair
This gaming chair is very nice. The assembling process was very simple and easy, but beware that the instructions are only picture and there are not words. My two children whom are 11 and 13 built this chair with ease, the only part they had trouble with was the part where you connect the back seat and the bottom seat together but with patience they got it. The chair is quite comfortable and supportive and my daughter used this chair for a whole day of online school and had no discomfort. I can not say for how long the chair will last as I have only had this chair for a few weeks.

Love the color, very comfortable, difficult to assemble
If you are weak in the arms, you will absolutely need a friend to help you place the back piece on. We had to actually disassemble some of it and then go forward with the back rest. Was a two day project as the first day I tried myself; second day I asked my roommate to help haha. Once it’s set up it’s very sturdy and comfy. Green fabric is a bit cheap and I’m worried about the wear overtime but for now it’s perfect.
