Educational
Bought for Grandchildren (age 6&3) who quickly learned how to use it under supervision. Bought a similar one three years ago for other Grandchildren who were same ages at the time - it’s still going well and is used frequently.Kids love to see the detail of bugs, flowers, hair, pencil shavings … you name it .. they find it and it’s inspected in detail. Great purchase.

Amazing for the price
Once I realised there's a clear lens cap you need to take off, the video was incredibly crisp. I'm amazed at how well this looks for the price. Also, unlike the photos the power connector is USB-C which is much better as it is more durable and common compared to the pictured micro-USB. Very happy with microscope!

Cheap and cheerful, but usefully competent.
Uses a small "Dino-lite" type of USB microscope with a rotating zoom barrel, so while the optics are not top-notch professional quality, they are decent for many non-critical applications. The barrel and screen can be removed from the stand and held by hand to get an angled perspective of the sample if required.I use it for electronics PCB reworks and inspections, down to tiny QFN packages and 0201/01005 components. The manual height adjustment is plasticky, but moves OK, and allows the rotating zoom function on the microscope to adjust back to focus. I tend to lock it in one position, and leave it. Clearance from the back upright stand to the visual area is only around 60mm so a large sample won't fit onto the bottom plate, the barrel and display may need to be removes, and held by hand. The base and stand is lightweight, while the top mechanism is relatively heavy, so it is a little top-heavy, but I secure mine to a small weighty aluminium plate for more stability. Operates from its own battery, which is really useful, so there's no cable to worry about once it's charged. I found the slide clips for holding samples down, to be a hindrance for PCBs, so I ground them off with a saw and a file. Controls and menus are easy to use. At full height, for maximum viewing area, the LEDs are a little weak, but a small LED reading lamp can be used if more light is needed.Overall, it's cheap, cheerful, lightweight, plasticky, but small, portable, easy to use and pack up into a briefcase for travelling, very useful and good enough quality. It can't match microscopes with external displays costing several thousand pounds, but is very good value for the money, and a useful piece of kit. I prefer a long arm binocular microscope, but this is useful for quick looks, or displaying the results on the screen to other viewers.

Very good
I wasn’t expecting much for the money but was i surprised it is actually very good and showed up tiny components on an iPad and there was enough room to work under it

does not have good zoom
If looking for a microscope that does go up to 1000x then i would not go for this no good for scrapes on koi to pick up and issues.
