Before purchasing this product I looked at the reviews and many were saying that this led kits app did not work on android. Some reviews also said the adhesive didnt stick, or they didnt work at all, or broken LEDs, etc. I took the chance anyway as the title of the product said "Updated Version". I have a galaxy s9 and everything works great. No connection issues at all. As soon as I plugged them in with no official "connecting" being done the app controlled them right away. App works great. I provided some screenshots to show you its is very functional. Lots of colors and rainbow fading/ color changing, microphone color sensitivity for music, etc. There is even a group manager option if you decide to buy multiple sets of this.Now to the light strips themselves. They are perfect for what I needed. I have them on a 65 inch and I could fit one on both sides vertically and two along the top horizontally. I plugged it right into my TV's usb port on the back of the tv so they are powered when the tv is on. No mess of wires at all, not a wire can be seen. The adhesive tape sticks very well no problems at all with it falling off or anything. (I would recommend cleaning of the back of your tv, at least where the strips will be placed, for dust to make sure they stick and stay. This may have been some of the bad reviewers problem.) My tv was new so no dust. The setup took less than 5 minutes. They are decently bright, especially in the dark. I provided a few pictures of what you get in the package and the strips on the tv. So far I'm giving it 5 stars. I searched a good amount here on Amazon and these are the best app controlled led's I could find for the best price. If any flaws appear over time I will update. So if no updates they have also stood great over time. Thank you, hopefully this was helpful to some.

This is an amazing kit for $15. It works perfectly on my LG 34" ultrawide monitor. Each strip of LEDs is about 19 inches, and the built-in connectors are about 6 inches. I almost got full coverage on my 34" monitor, you can see in the photo there is about a 5 inch gap, bit it looks fine when you are looking at the screen. If you have a larger TV, you probably want one of the longer cords to get the best effect. Also, the strip is bendable, as long as you are careful, you can make it wrap around the corners no problem (look at the image).The LEDs are moderate brightness, not eye melting, but pretty good. The photo didn't come out well, the effect is nicer in person. Really give nice ambiance to the room and make the images on screen pop. Also fun to turn the lights off in the room and still be able to see the keyboard, the ultimate for your gaming cave.There is an app you can download (I tried on Android) and it works okay. I found it glitches out some of the time and loses the connection. A few times the LEDs started blinking rainbows really fast like a night club, but usually restarting the app will fix it. You can select solid colors or choose from a few presets. Like they have red glow, green/blue glow, white strobe, etc. The rainbow fade was alright, but I wish you could select specific colors to cycle through. Otherwise it works good enough, not the end of the world.Overall I am really happy with the purchase. At only $15 this is far cheaper than other options and still works great. A nice upgrade if you're a serious gamer and just want to mod your setup, or make it match the RGB on your PC. Only thing I would want is syncing to the content on screen, but those kits are like $100 or more, this is a good cheap option. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to set up, the lights are perfect, they change with sound, the length was perfect for my 65” tv.

Who doesn't like the easy on the eyes, low power, mood settingness (yes that is a word, I said so) of LED lights? Want to do that Netflix and chill? I mean watching actually sitting down and hanging out and watching a movie. It really adds a bit of that cinma feel with the soft floor lighting. Now onto the actual product. It was 4 sections of LED strips. Pictured is a 42" TV and the strips did NOT cover the whole perimeter of the TV. Now if you look at the diagram in the photos of how to install it, I went along the outside edge of my TV, as it had the best surface for the strips to adhere too. So my TV has the strips starting along the left side, across the top, and down the right side and end there. I'm OK with that, because who really wants to back light where all the cables route out of the TV and cable box. Now for the app, it works pretty well, though I didn't get the lights to go to the beat of music.... but I'll never use that feature anyway, so again... I'm cool with that. But you can really dial in the color you want depending on the setting you use. Though this morning I could not turn the lights off via the app before I left for work... but that could be my phone. I'm do for a new one, so let me know if this happens to you too. The only downside is this... They do not work while the TV is off. Now I thought this was my TV, but my Chromecast and Fire Stick still work if I turn the TV off. How do I know if they still work you ask? Well turn the TV back on and did it reset? Nope? Then they had power the whole time. These lights will not work with the TV powered off. Why would that matter? Well If you're not watching TV and want to set the mood, it would be nice if they worked.... or of you say wake up every morning at 4:30 am and your wife and kid are still sleeping and you don't want to turn on the lights and wake them up so you stumble down the stairs trying not to fall and kill yourself in the worst possible way.... (yes that is a run on on purpose. Read it all in one breath). Then it would ne nice to turn on the LED lights from upstairs so you can light up the steps without a huge burst of light. That would be a treat. All in all, for $13....they are worth it. Give them a spin.
