I recommend. I have a very active cattle dog mix, and I need strong harnesses. This is a strong, well-made harness. Also, she is deaf so I need something that has areas so I can display her patches. This has two. I really like the size and fit. She is wearing a medium. It’s good value for the money. It looks good and it’s easy to buckle. The only improvement I could see would if they could make all the clasps metal, not just 2.

Got this for our 85 pound Akita. Had a collar, but she had a tendency to "choke" herself when on her run. This has been a game changer. It's very rugged. Fits her perfectly. Thick. It has a combination of metal and plastic clips. Metal near the shoulders where there's more tension if they pull. Plastic around the front leg/shoulders. Also has a handle on top that is very strong. So much more control with thos harness. Grab the handle and she immediately stops dead in her tracks, which is awesome since she can drag us around if she wanted. It is comfortable enough that we leave it on her all day, and take it off at night when she won't be going out again. I have recommended this to a few people, and I recommend it here, as well.

Happy with high quality, multiple hook points for walking or vehicle use. Has adjusted to dogs growth well. Ease of use...great product.

This is a great sturdy harness. One of the best I've had but the chest area was still to large after adjustments. I have a 48-50lb staffy 2 yrs.old and pure muscle and I still need to go down a size

I love Icefang's harnesses and I've purchased several of them. They've always made great harnesses. Top notch in the quality of materials, workmanship and design. Yet their harnesses just keep getting better and better as they continue improving their designs. The GN8 is a perfect example of this. It's rapidly becoming my favorite of their strap harness models for several reasons. This design allows for excellent range of motion without any worries about chafing. Like all of the strap versions it features a chest piece that by virtue of it's shape and being somewhat stiff helps the harness stay in place. It's well padded making it very comfortable for the dog. The GN8 includes a top piece that has the same features. It conforms to the dog's shape and the two pieces combine to do an outstanding job of keeping the harness well centered on the dog's back. The top piece also has hook and loop panels which allows for adding morale and service patches. It doesn't have a molle platform but it does have a pair of loops that you can use to hang items from such as keys and even IFAK and EDC pouches which is what I use them for. Yet because of it's minimalist design it doesn't add much heat thus helping the dog stay cool even during a workout. The GN8 like all of the strap models features truly heavy duty straps, stitching and hardware but this model includes quick release buckles on the neck straps. These metal buckles are quite sturdy yet lightweight. I love this feature as you're not forced to slide the harness over the dog's head to get it on and off. I really hope that they incorporate this feature into their other strap designs. I'm thrilled that Icefang has started adding reflective elements to their designs and the GN8 is highly reflective. It's a very stylish harness with a very functional design and I highly recommend it. It's an awesome harness.

Very nice well-made product. For 6lb Toy Poodle had straps cinched up all the way. Fits great. Handle works well to place him in front dog carrier on my e-bike. He loves the wind in his face just like riding in the car with window down FUN!

I bought 2 of these, one each for my lab and Belgian Malinois. The harness is well made and sturdy. It is very adjustable, but the straps can be a little bit of a pain to adjust. But they hold in place well when set where you want them, so that is not much of a problem. The handle like the rest of the harness is sturdy, which is handy with my Mal, as he is a little reactive at times. The materials are good quality, and workmanship too.

This harness is perfect. The quality of the materials in it and the sewing is outstanding. It is very heavy duty in every respect, and I trust it like military equipment. It is highly adjustable in every dimension, and fits my dog perfectly. The versatility is perfect, with hook rings in front for his tags and a training lead, top forward for a leash, and top rear. The handle is oriented perfectly so I can grab him while he is on the run, and lift him off his feet like a 50 lb suitcase without hurting him. I am not easily impressed, but this harness checks all the right boxes and my dog and I highly recommend it.Best of all, my dog cannot get a good bite on any part of it to chew it up, like he did with the last one from another manufacturer. He is a super high energy dog and a collar or a lower quality harness just doesn't work. Strangely, I cannot prove it, but this harness actually seems to have a mildly calming effect on him, like he feels more secure wearing it. Maybe it is just easier for him focus because he knows he is wearing it. He actually likes to wear it - He is excited to put it on, and clearly does not want me to remove it.The velcro MOLLE patches are nice - I didn't think I would find them useful, but I ordered some high visibility reflective patches that fit nicely and I think he is safer when being walked near traffic. We don't have sidewalks so walking on the side of the road is our only option. He is certainly easier to see from a distance. Nice bonus!

Fitting is easy. Design keeps the dog secure and no pitch points. Dog is able to move around without any chuffling. Top D-ring for everyday day walking. Front D-ring for control to prevent pulling. There's a 3rd on the top if you want to run along side the dog. Buckets are time saving items to help with putting on and off the harness. It's a bit heavy, but the dog gets used to it. Any issues and the seller is willing to help out. 5 stars just for that.
