Clearly, it’s a cheap plastic train. But actually works well and our 2 yr old learned to run the remote and play with it for hours. We placed it under our Christmas tree.

The media could not be loaded. Mostly positive. But I'll give the negatives first. One the battery compartment screws seemed a little off thread so it took a lot to get the battery compartments open without stripping the screws. However, I think if people are careful they wouldn't even need the screws however batteries can be dangerous to children so I understand why they have the screws. Second, you have to take out the rechargable battery to charge every time. Would be nice to ba able to charge it from the actual train. And last just a tiny thing is the horn sounds are a little sketchy but still fun for little ones. I do like how the sound is on the remote so it can be kept off and only makes those noises when it's wanted. The last little thing is it can sound a bit "loud" on the tracks when there are not other background noises such as TV or people talking but put on a little music and all is well.This is a fun little train and I am impressed by the steam functionality as I didn't think it would work well enough and the train is a lot sturdier than I thought it would be.

It's absolutely adorable, but has its flaws.Pros:- Extremely easy to assemble- Lightweight- Very visually appealing: great colors, and the lights on the front add extra charm (not sire I would have picked red and blue for a train though, lol)- Steam function is an absolute treat, and my kids think it's just amazing.-Track is large enough to go around the tree and still fit presents in between.- Rechargeable - fully charged in about 2hrs.Cons:- Threading of the tiny battery screws is a little off- The train sounds are loud and obnoxious. There's no volume control. It's either blaring, or off.- I had issues with the remote itself and it took a solid 30mins and pulling it apart to actually get it to function. Been working just fine since, though.- Remote is cheaply made, and the train will only operate with it. So I am concerned about longevity.- Train battery can be tedious to get out/in etc every time it needs a charge. Nothing horrible. More of an inconvenience.All in all, it's still a solid little purchase and we thoroughly enjoy watching this little train chug along under the tree as it continues to dump fake snow all over the floor.Would I buy it again?Yes!

We bought this after Christmas last year. It was our bad for not setting it up after we received it.For the price, it’s junk. It’s hard to keep the cars connected as they disconnect so easily.Don’t waste your money.

We purchased this train to replace another model that had some minor issues. So far it has worked very well. And having the remote is an added plus. It looks good running around the base of the Xmas tree.

Yes, it's plastic, but for the price it's perfect! Love the smoke and the remote control. Easy for a 2 year old to work.
