Ok I'm going to be honest I did not read the description carefully and I thought this was going to be real wood. I also failed to realize there was no actual wood involved until I had finished installing it. So that should give you some info about the quality of the fake. It's pretty good! This was actually my second repair of this table. Last time I used real wood veneer edge banding and it really didn't hold up. It was vulnerable to chipping being in an area that gets a ton of abuse from the chair being pushed in and from people who mess with it without thinking. I think the fake wood is going to be a lot more durable. It was certainly easier to trim the edges without worrying about chipping or splintering. I installed it with a hair dryer and that worked just fine. For me, the color was a perfect match for my medium-dark wood table with a slightly reddish tint. Think 80's credenza.

I like this banding better than others because it’s thicker. So far it hasn’t chipped or come off my desk. The color matches well also

Much darker than ad photo shows. Can't use on cherry cabinets as it's not even close in color and my cabinets are fairly dark cherry.

Used to fix missing trim on our RV table. Worked great!

Product was a perfect colour and easy to iron on.

Not good product, took forever to iron the strips to the furniture. I have used Melamine/Vinyl before and never had this issue. Would never buy this product again.
