It is very sturdy when set up
The cup holder I wanted to install this in was on my reclining couch! It worked perfectly.Pros: The joint nearest the cup insert has teeth--which means the joint does not move when tightened. It also means you really need to loosen the screw quite a bit before attempting to adjust it.The top joint expands, so it is quite easy to get the holder at the right place for use.Cons: The adjusting nut the makes the grippers pop out is extremely difficult to turn. I was impressed with the amount of adjustment possible.I bumped the iPad several times getting out of the chair, but the adjustment on the joint cup did not change.

GAME CHANGER (best option available)
The media could not be loaded. Exceeded expectations and very budget friendly this thing is truly amazing and sturdy! Same function as more expensive options. Minimal wobble and very secure, super snug fit into cup holder. Screw knobs stay tightened very well. Fits my 12.9” iPad Pro with slim case on with ease. 10/10

Very functional
I had purchased a different model previously it broke within two days. This model has the metal slides so it’s stronger and can take the continued daily use, so far so good. Happy with product.

Seems like a good product so far
I can only give 4 stars as it's only been in use for 4 days.So far this seems more robust than the last product I owned by a different manufacturer.I have this in my work van for my iPad.It will get lots of action as I use the iPad for gps. Then take it out of the holder to use for service work orders .

Steady but bad plastic, unless you like a wobbly screen/viewing experience
Item was great when I got it, easy to install, no questions asked however if you prefer something that doesnt wobble like crazy when tapping your tablets screen this item is not for you. If the plastic was just a little more reenforced, this wouldn't be an issse. As they always say, you get what you pay for especially in terms of this purchase.

Very good design
I used it to hold up my tablet and use it as a standalone GPS. It did great for my trip from Florida to Georgia.

Cheap plastic. Used with an iPad 10-12 times and broke already.
