Very reliable!
Excellent product! it keeps track of time perfectly and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The timer is very easy to program and has up to 28 on an off cycles per day. There is a red indicator light to tell you when it's active. It also has a manual on/off or auto mode. I've been using it for 2 months so far (in auto mode) without a single hiccup. Build quality is very nice. It seamlessly snaps in right next to all your other circuit breakers if you are using a DC breaker box.I saw a lot of reviews in here saying that it doesn't work, which made me weary. All I have to say to that is; if you don't know how to read a wiring diagram this product is not for you.In short it's a fantastic little digital timer and I highly recommend!

Perfect timer
Repeat buyer. I have a positive experience with the 110v timer. When I need a timer for a solar installation, I bought the 12 vdc version. Great quality, and perfect size for my project. Very easy to program and reliable product.

Ok so far
Just installed one of these for a DIY solar project. It works fine. Pros: easy to program, attaches to a rail (particularly useful if you need to install several), and it works. It has an internal lithium battery that keeps the setting if you disconnect the circuit and an on-off-auto function. The buttons are behind a cover, which provides some protection (not water proof). Cons: the instruction is a joke, hard to understand how to connect, although The connection is relatively obvious The connectors are a hole-and-screw, somewhat flimsy. I'd say all this is OK if it lasts with no problem.

Great Value; Works as it Should
The instructions could be better, but if you can follow a wiring diagram you'll be fine. The timer has way more functions than I needed, but might come in handy for others. I just needed it to turn on and off at the same time every day. It took about 30 seconds to set it up this way.I have some 12V lighting and a camera on a remote part of my property where there is no electricity. I have a solar setup to power these things. A new 12V LED light I installed has a photoelectric sensor on it so it will stay on from dusk until dawn. I didn't want it to stay on all night so I introduced this timer to the equation. It works perfectly for this purpose and cuts the power to the light at midnight.

12 volt timmer always on or off options
Nice little timmer, instructions were skimpy, had a little trouble programming it but solved it fast enough, seems like you have to program at least7 spots I only used 4 and 3 with zeros. I'm using it to cycle my solar panels on and off for a minute couple times a day. Seems to keep the solar controller from getting pissy.

Will not actually function at 24 volts. This is a 12 volt relay.
Programming is relay was easy and it worked as advertised. My only issue with this relay is that it says it'll work with 24 volts online. But I hooked it up to 24 volts and shortly thereafter smoked the relay so I got to looking at it and saw on the side it says it's only rated for 12 volts. Fortunately I was able to take the relay apart remove the blown capacitor and install a more beefy capacitor. And now the relay does work at 24 volts and it works very well. So I don't know if my three star rating is really accurate. As I have the device now I would rate it at five Stars. But I had to replace the capacitor. Just a little FYI. If you happen to experience this it's very easy to diagnose a blown capacitor. It's pretty easy to disassemble the relay device. So do that and then look at the circuit board. You will see that insulation has been blown in a radius around an electronic component. That electronic component will be fairly obviously blown apart. That is the capacitor, it'll say its capacitive rating on the side. Get online and order a similar one with slightly higher ratings and solder it in place.

Good standard DIN rail timer
Sold under a plethora of brand names, this timer relay has become like the 555 chip was to timer circuits in the old days, almost a standard. The clock is reasonably accurate although it will certainly drift off a few minutes over the course of a year. I typically use these with 120 and 240 VAC circuits, but this purchase was for the 12VDC variant and I was concerned at first that neither the instruction sheet nor the device itself specified the polarity of the 12VDC power input. IT DOESN'T MATTER, it's not polarity sensitive at all. This is a really useful and flexible timer that's easy to program with multiple events if desired, and the price is quite reasonable.
