GilletteFusion Razor Blades - 8 Count

After using half of the blades in the package I have downgraded my review and agree with other reviewers that these are poor quality. The first cartridge I used was as good as previous ones I've bought in stores, but the following 3 were really poor quality, did not give a good close shave and I found several spots of hairs all over my legs that were not picked up by the blades. I have never had this problem with blades I purchased from stores. I wouldn't recommend these, they might be cheaper here but the quality isn't there and you'll end up needing new blades sooner anyway.

Had an earlier Gillette Fusion razor whose handle was too worn to continue. This was even a bit better and provides an excellent shave. My beard's on the light side so I can get at least a month out of every blade.Free razor burn tip: Shave with aloe vera gel, not shaving cream.

The quality here is questionable. No matter how careful I am with these blades I always end up with several nicks on the neck and chin. Sharpening the blades on a pair of jeans seems to help, but even with attentive care they don't last very long. It's an okay price for 8 blades but at the end of the day the razor industry is still quite the scam. Look elsewhere, I can't recommend these.

Prior to buying Gillette, I had ordered some cut rate blades from China. They were the worst blades I ever used. Ordered the Gillette blades before my face wore out. I shave every other day and a blade lasts me 4 to 5 months with no cuts. I get a little drag at the end but not as bad as the Chinese blades when they were new. But American, better steel.

Package arrived a day early!!.. new blade, fresh out of the package, not nearly as sharp as when I've purchased them from my local grocer. If you're shaving every day, even when using a good shaving cream, this might not be the blade for you... I only shaved a few times a week. We'll see how long the blade lasts before needing replacement; my others have gone 2 - 3 months.

I have been using this shaver for several years, value for money and still works. Too bad, this model is gonna phase out soon.

The title says Fusion5. The picture is of the good ole Fusion blades. So, what is it that you actually get? In my case, I was shipped the old style Fusion blades as pictured; and that was just fine by me. They were still a good price by today's standard for overpriced razor blades.

I've used Gillette blades for a couple decades now. I've tried other shaves, including old style safety blades (it was a phase I went through), but nothing compares to these. Shave is excellent, and the life of the blade is very good (I easily get a month out of one blade). I have also tried the cheap blades from other companies, and one of them broke in my hand once, and the shave was just "okay." I've now given up looking for anything better, because it does not exist.
