Golden Malted Waffle and Pancake Flour, Original, 33-Ounce Can

This makes very yummy waffles, but we had to add some vanilla because they're not very sweet. I think the baking soda in it makes it kind of bitter? A bit of vanilla helps tremendously. They puff up nicely in the waffle maker and crisp and brown just like a professional waffle maker in the hotel makers do.

I've been a chef for years and this mix is the same brand I used.The resealable can makes Sunday morning waffles easier than you can imagine, and the waffles come out as crisp and light, and fluffy (if you have a flip waffle iron especially) as any restaurant will offer.The Golden Malted brand tastes better than ANY waffle mix on your grocer's shelf. If you travel, and have had the breakfast buffet with the great waffles, there's a good chance that this is the brand they use.It's a little more costly, but the quality is so high. I highly recommend.

This mix made VERY good waffles, and was easy to make. That being said, it is kind of expensive. It made 8 waffles, and took an egg per waffle (8 eggs for whole can). Unfortunately, I have not found anything that is any better, so these are reserved for special days.

Delicious waffle mix!

I didn't find these as tasty as others report. Rather bland but good texture. They can be tweaked perhaps with half and half etc. but prepared as instructed are a bit of a letdown. Nowhere near homemade malted waffles. Price point is high for what you get as well. These may be good in food service applications when tweaked and purchased in large volumes.

It tasted better than all the other pancake mixes out in the grocery store.
