Boudreaux's Crawfish Tail Meat, Frozen - 1 Lb (Pack of 5) - Premium Quality, Fully Cooked, Peeled, Deveined, Fat-On

OK Boudreaux's used to sell Texas farm raised crawfish tails and now at the bottom of the package it says disributed by Gulf Marine products Inc. still sounds like a Gulf Coast company, it's NOT! it's a distributor that now uses Chinese farm raised crawfish tails in the same packaging. I don't know if Boudreaux's sold them selves out to another company that has opted for a cheaper product but here's the thing that kills me… When we have Gulf Coast crawfish farmers right here in the United States trying to make a living why on earth do we have American companies importing an inferior product and trying to pawn it off on the American public as being an American product? I came to the Midwest after Hurricane Katrina and one of the few things that I really really feel makes me feel at home is my home made crawfish pie. But I can no longer have it because I'm not eating Louisiana or gulf coast raised crawfish when I make it so guess what? Now I don't even have that. This is one of the main reasons why our country is in such poor shape economically. One, we're screwing all of our farmers, and two, we are definitely screwing American crawfish farmers when we really don't have to. Boudreaux's, you can kiss my southern girl ass goodbye.

Boudreaux is from China, no way to know what they've been fed or how sanitary the processing is. I do know the Chinese tails are smaller and don't have that richness that Riceland or other Louisiana brands do. Not nearly as much "fat" included, either. Buy Louisiana crawfish!

Nice try, Boudreaux. This is a product of China. The poor photo tries to hide it, but I've had them and they are terrible. Go with Texas or Louisiana crawfish tail meat if you want something that actually tastes good.

They are extremely small tails, and not worth $23 a pound. If you have to buy this brand save yourself the money and get them Walmart for $11 a pound.

Boudreaux’s crawfish tail meat is the best packaged option I’ve found so far. A tad overpriced but still the best out there short of getting it fresh
