I consistently get between 9:00 and 11 minutes of spend time. I use these for meditation, and it's the perfect length of time for a little break throughout my day. I have many different manufacturers versions, this is one of the very best and it is the least expensive of the high performance Spinners I've found. I highly recommended!

Others have dinged this product for a misleading photo making it appear larger than it is in reality. However, additional photos give its actual dimensions. Weighing 1.9 oz this is the heaviest spin top I own, and the weight is held high enough that it is hard to get a perfectly vertical spin. However, the moderately wide distribution of weight keeps it spinning a long time, especially when that near-perfect spin is achieved. As others noted, the advertised spin time seems impossible. My best timed spin was 8:43. The bit of detailing makes this top distinctive. I like tops that have detailing that changes with spin speed.

This is a solid top well machined and performs exceptionally well it's very simple to get 5 to 7 minutes out of a hand spin and longer with practice. Using a small motor-driven starter (I made from an old USB fan) I can easily get 15 and 1/2 minutes or more although this is not the same as hand spinning it is an amazing thing to see it's spin for that long. I'd highly recommend this for first timers or for people that wish to add to the collection. Price is exceptionally low for the quality of this top and its ability to maintain a long spin and good looking too!

A while back I purchased a different long-spin top: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FM1MBDK? It was pretty cool, and so I was attracted to this one which is built on a similar design, but appeared to be much larger. From the photo on the item page you would expect this top to be about 2-inches in diameter. It's not. The actual size is barely the diameter of a quarter; in fact it's a little smaller than the other brand top I previously purchased. But it costs more. Functionally, it works great. It's well-balanced, and it spins for a long time -- although NOT for the "Exceed 10 Mins" claimed. I got an average of between 4 and 5 minutes spin out of it. I bought one of these as a trial, intending to buy several more as gifts, if I liked it. But the size bugs me -- the doctored photo amounts to false advertising. For the actual size you receive, the price is a rip-off. I suggest buying the other brand I sampled earlier -- it works just as well and it's a better deal. Five stars for functionality; One star for false advertising -- result: 3 stars.

My best top yet. Gotta be my fav one so far. It looks awesome, has a premium feel to it and spins for days. It’s a decent size and weight. Also I def suggest to get the multi colored one like I got bc it’s funner to watch. All the solid color tops look still when they spin

I prefer a larger size top for spinning, and this does nicely. In fact, they could all be bigger in my opinion. Nice balance and a decent heft, but 10 minutes? I don't think so. On a glass track going downhill with a wind at its back, maybe. It has a hollow top section for your finger grasp and that makes it well suited for a size 20 star bit to insert. I used my power drill on high speed (1800rpm's) to really get it going on a glass plate. Over and over again, at least 20 times, and the very best I got turned out to be 9.34 minutes. Yes, pretty close to 10, but this is with the aid of a high-speed precision drill. Not anyone's fingers. So, unless you are a cybernetically enhanced hybrid human being, I don't believe it is possible to achieve the ever elusive 10.00 minutes. Like I said at the beginning, bigger! You need more mass to build up enough stored kinetic energy to keep it going, like a flywheel. Other than that, good looking and fun little toy!

My wife and kids have had fun taking turns spinning on a double-concave optical glass lens at 3". I was able to achieve spin times of 8, and 9 minutes consistently, and with 10:52 my longest so far by hand on the first day. There are others out there that claim to go longer, but for the price, this is performs better than expected -- not to mention I'm new at it. With proper technique I can see this being able to reach the 12-minute mark.

...this spinning top has good weight, good balance and has an attractive knurled top section to allow you to spin the top between your fingers easily. my one complaint is that, because these are given as gifts quite often, it would've been nice if it came in a small cardboard box as well as the soft tie bag.
