The "full desk mouse pad" is NOT the way to go. You almost need it because it covers the fact that this desk is really 3 pieces of wood connected. Which would be fine, but the mouse pad comes rolled up so tight and "crinkled" that you have to double-sided tape the rolling/damaged edges down. I've washed it twice in hot water trying to get it to relax, not help at all. Can't iron it since it's wetsuit material. Do yourself a favor, and keep on scrolling to another model and/or manufacturer. And don't waste your time with contacting customer service, they don't respond.

I received and assembled the desk following the directions. Once I completed the assembly I found only the right side traveled up. No response from the left leg, and no response from the right leg when attempting to put the desk down. Phone calls to customer service 1-800 number resulted in only leaving a voicemail. Email response never arrived. I like the look of the desk and the feel of it if only the motor worked as needed. I don't even have a manual crank location on this model to manually work the legs. Huge disappointment!
