Work great. Good color choices

I recently purchased this product. I found it to be a great product. It is made sturdy and works well. It is easy to use and looks great. The price was fair and the item was as described in the ad.

I don't even know how I lived before I got these. Seriously. My (non-existant) marriage was terrible.. Heck. My (non-existant) love-life wasn't so great either. I didn't even have a girlfriend (and still do not)!!! -- But since I invested in these, now my Cat-5e cables look ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! They slide around my specific cable, but hold onto the RJ45 head very snugly. They look so good and definitely help with the cable stress. If you'd just drop a DAB of glue around its fitting after securing it, I am sure these would add years of life to your cables. Plus, they come in so many colors <3Pros:- Multiple Colors- Fit Snugly around the Connector- Looks Great & ProfessionalCons:- I'm still single.- Easy to forget to install them when actually making a cable.

Based on the price I took a risk on these as I'm trying to clean up and organize some of the cabling in my home.I feel they are a pretty good value for Cat 5 with the following caveat.You use them on cables that are mostly left in place.They are flexible but not soft. I wouldn't use them to build a cable to connect to a laptop that you unplug daily.The assortment of colors is nice for building custom length patch cables for a switch or for in place runs for desktops/servers.I bought them hoping they might also work for Cat 6a. Nope.Near boiling water softens them to where they stretch some (almost look like they will fit), but then they tear easily.If you cut the part that goes along the cable and flexes off and drilled out the hole you can to fit these on. They look horrible and now don't really do what they are supposed to do.If you want Cat6a boots look elsewhere. Trust me I tried to make them work.

The colors in the mix are great and these fit snugly on the connector. Some of the cheaper boots want to fall off the plug, these fit tight enough to not do that.

I'm using these to make custom ethernet cable lengths for the house. I'm turning the place into one big house-sized super computer and these have been super helpful when I need an ethernet cable of non-standard length. Cables catch on everything and these are great at preventing that!

Very nice product.

I color-coded my network cables based on one color per room. This was the only company that sold colored RJ45 connectors. The color-coded connectors make it easy to find which cable belongs to which room besides just having a label on the cable. The cable connectors were very inexpensive and offered much value. They were not easy at going over a CAT 6A cable, so just a heads up. You can get it done, but your fingers will be numb. Overall, I highly recommend these color-coded boot connectors.
