Gooby - Stretch Fleece Vest, Pullover Fleece Vest Jacket Sweater for Dogs, Black, 2X-Large

These sweaters are perfect. They fit great, are stretchy but bouce back, they are soft & warm, EASY to put on, (these are improved to pullovers instead of older velcro ones) and take off, they are versatile - not too heavy not too light, plus they are good looking and my dog seems to like them!

I highly recommend this jacket! I have now bought 4 of them because my dog seems to really love them. She is a 42 pound hound. Neck is 14.25 inches, length is 21 inches, and the largest part of her chest is 25 inches. I started by ordering her the lilac (light purple in the 1st pic) jacket in 2XL and while it did fit, it is just a little snug for my liking. It's really stretchy fleece but just looked slightly too small on her. So next I bought her the 3XL in mint (which is more of a sky blue) and I think the fit is perfect! I recommend following the girth measurement in the size chart, and not the weight. Reviews were saying to order a size smaller which is why I got the 2XL, but I love how the 3XL fits her and she can comfortably nap in it and it covers more of her back. It's also sort of become her security blanket because she's a little anxious and this jacket seems to help.I don't really put the 2XL lilac on her because it's small, so I rotate between the pink, mint, and lavender (dark purple-not pictured because it's in the wash). I wash them with all my other laundry and they do just fine. I love how quickly they dry! Since the fabric is so stretchy, it's really easy to put the jacket on her. All of the seams are very well sewn and there are no loose threads. My dog plays very hard in this jacket and they've all held up so well. It's kept her pretty warm this winter but if we're outside for any length of time then I layer another coat over this fleece. She doesn't seem to get overheated wearing this inside so I will often leave it on her for a good portion of the day during the winter. I'd definitely buy another one but for now 3 is enough :)Update 11/12/24: I now have another hound girl that is 49#, roughly the same measurements as my other girl, and we are still enjoying the same 3 jackets in 3XL size! They are all still holding up and have 0 holes after plenty of rough housing and washing.

The media could not be loaded. Finally a pullover style that fits my Dobermans perfectly!! These are soft and stretchy, provide warmth and they look awesome! These did not impede their movement and they didn’t even seem to notice they had them on as they walked and played like they normally would! Their sizing chart is accurate, I had sized up on my first order because normally nothing ever fits them and was surprised that they were slightly too big, but still worked so we’re keeping them but also ordered a second set using the size chart recommendation and those were perfect so my advice is to measure your dog and match it to their chart and you’ll be good! For reference in my photos the black pup is 63lbs and wearing a 4XL in pumpkin color and the tan pup is 84lbs and wearing a 5XL also in pumpkin.We’ve only had for a couple days so can’t speak to how they’ll hold up long term but they seem well made and nice material. Going to order a couple more colors because we like them so much and are so happy to finally have something that fits that wasn’t super expensive!

Really great dog coat. The medium fits my 18 lb Boston Terrier perfectly. She is tall with a longer body and legs. Love the purple color and quality workmanship. Like so much I purchased a second one in black.

I got this for my 7 year old Shih Tzu and it fits snuggly and he looks very handsome. Still plenty of stretch and he seems unbothered when normally he’s picky about clothes around his legs.Knocked a star because this has serious color bleed when washing. Good thing we hand washed because the sink was Kool-Aide red from all the color dye that came off. Heaven help you if you accidentally put in the washing machine!

I bought two different kinds of sweaters for three dog. Dimensions are for chest, back, neck). The chihuahua (16", 11.5", 10", 9 lbs), is wearing a 2018 Gooby sweater advertised as medium 13.5" chest with a leash ring. It is slightly thicker and less soft than the new sweaters and harder to take off since the material doesn't stretch as much. It would be easier if I had ordered a larger size, but as you can see in the picture, it's already loose on him and I didn't want him to be tripping or slipping out of it. He likes to run nude even if he shivers to death. I'm not sure if the newer Gooby sweaters with leash rings are made with stretchier material. I hope so.The other two dogs have brand new 2021 Gooby sweaters w/o leash rings. The material is very soft, stretchy and seems just as warm as the thicker sweater. My puli (23", 17", 15", 30lb) has his winter haircut (no dreadlocks). The X-Large is perfect for him. Plus the stretchy material will easily allow his hair to grow at least half an inch without becoming too snug.The German Short-haired Pointer (28", 25", 16", 52lb) is perfect in a 3X-Large (she's lean). This dog needs to be in the garage/outdoors when I go to work and it gets down in the 50's so I will use something thicker for those days. On dog walks up to 6 miles, this sweater works well. If she were to gain weight, the sweater will stretch to accommodate so if you have a dog that weighs more but has the same dimensions, this size would work.The best thing about these sweaters is that there is no Velcro. Velcro on stiff material helps to adjust for size, but this stretchy material doesn't need it. Velcro stops working quickly once the soft nylon hooks break or collect fur and debris. I've lost dog clothes out in the wilderness because of this so now I won't mess with it. These are the best sweaters by far. I only wish they would come with an optional waterproof layer so if they dash out in the rain to pee, they won't be in wet sweaters.
