Must have for changing batteries in tilt sensors
Bought this tool for a friend who needed to change the battery in his Tilt sensor. The sensor was really tight and we struggled to remove the cap but we did eventually get it off. The tool did what it was supposed to do. The tool had a decent grip on the cap but the cap was super tight so i wouldnt say it was really easy to use, but it did work. The tool seems to be well made and fealt sturdy when holding it.

Makes Tilt battery change easy!
Perfect wrench to change the batteries in a Tilt. You won't break the Tilt case using this wrench. Easy off with this wrench.

Works
Works great. Keep in mind this wrench works by gripping the removable cap on your Tilt, so you need to push it onto the cap with sufficient pressure. I used to use a pair of pliers with masking tape on the jaws to grip the cap. If you've done this as well, you may have overtightened the cap, so I'd recommend carefully loosening it with protected pliers before using the Tilt wrench. From that point on, only use the Tilt wrench to install/remove the cap. A very thin layer of food-grade silicone grease on the threads and gasket also can help.

Makes opening Tilt a breeze
So easy to open with this! Probably go ahead and order yourself a replacement washer as mine looks pretty chalky.

Once had the spanner seated on cap far enough down on cap just unscrewed.

I have 2 devices I wanted to replace the batteries in and so thought I would get the proper tool. I am quite practical but I just could not get either open with this tool. I used a pair of grips and it was fine.

I agree with adapte 22 Jul 2023. This product is useless. In the end I bought a pair of strap wrenches at about half the price and they did the job.
