Works perfectly in our 2015 Avalon.
It was the perfect alternative to an expensive dealer update. It updates the maps to 2020. Husband followed instructions online on how to install. Just need patience - it takes about 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

The map is one year old - microSD card failed
Update: 5/10/2022: I changed my review to 1-star! After 9 months, the MicroSD card failed and my navigation either reboots every few minutes or it shows an error message saying map data cannot be read from the card. This may be a counterfeit product. After Toyota switched from Entune to Toyota App with a mandatory update, live traffic data stopped working. Don’t waste your money. I reinstalled the original microSD card that came with my 4Runner and all issues went away and live traffic data came back!——————————————————It appears to be a genuine microSD card from Toyota and it is the latest version of the map. However, the map is one year old and it’s not the seller’s fault. That’s how it comes from Toyota. I updated the maps in a 2018 4Runner, which had 2017 maps.Installation is as simple as inserting the microSD card and letting the navigation system update the maps. In addition to updating maps, it updated audio firmware too.

Garbage
These are not current maps! There are roadways missing from this that google maps has had for over a year. It was not sealed when it arrived. I think it might have been counterfeit. If not, shame on Toyota.

Didn’t Work
Bought this to update my 2018 Toyota Highlander XLE. It didn’t work. Put it in the card slot and the head unit was able to read and download the updates. It re-booted and showed a map for about 30 seconds and then it said it couldn’t read the card. Took it out and restarted it. Nope. Still couldn’t read it. Disappointed with this purchase. Luckily it’s returnable, and that’s what I’ll be doing.

Great Toyota GPS Map update great value! !
My Toyota Avalon GPS started working erratically until it finally failed to access the SD data card. As a last ditch attempt to get the GPS working again I purchased this card at a very reasonable price. It arrived as promised. It was extremely easy to install. With my fingers crossed I turned on the GPS. It immediately went back to work and has been working great with the new data card. Recommend it, great price!
