Ok .... I bought the small one in Sticky Bun scent. It was amazing. It made my whole house smell like a bakery. My husband and I both fell in love with this candle. HOWEVER... when we decided we couldn’t live without our house smelling like sticky buns we ordered the large candle. Could only buy 1 and had to wait. That’s ok. We knew it would be worth it.WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!The large candle has NO SMELL AT ALL. NOTHING. I’m not sure what happened, maybe they forgot to put the oil in it. We are so glad we could only buy 1 large candle. I will never forget how amazing the first one was, but will never order again due to the lack of consistency in their product. If you decide to try your luck, I hope it’s a good one.

I recently discovered Milkhouse Candles and am in love with the brand and the way this company makes their products safe and clean. We don't need any more chemicals in our lives and this brand recognizes that. I love that this candle is large and lasts a long time. Also that it comes in a farmhouse style glass jar with a black holder. Really cool and giftable. My only complaint is the scent of this one. It smells divine when not lit but once lit, the smell is odd and kind of cleaner-ish?! Anyways, I wouldn't buy this scent again but I would definitely try a different scent. Just bummed I spent so much money on this and the scent wasn't so great 😭

This is a VERY STRONG FLOWERY candle, but it works on mosquitoes, which is a surprise because it is not a citronella or lemongrass. I have problems with mosquitos in the house and have been burning citronella and lemongrass candles which don't seem to be working and also seem to be bothering my lungs. I started burning this candle for fun and the mosquitos diminished down to almost zero. I still see an occasional one or two, but they don't attack me all day and night like they did before I got the candle. Can't recommend this enough if you don't mind strong wildflowers! It's wonderful.

This candle smells wonderful and lasts all the way through! There is ZERO black smoke & no soot staining on the inside of the jar either (magic!) I will be buying many more & they will make amazing gifts-excellently packaged!!The oatmeal/milk & honey that I purchased made the whole room mouth watering and brought back memories of cold mornings with my Grandmother. I can't wait to try them all!Even better than all that; these are made in the USA!!

I found these at a local antique store and fell in love with them but they didn't have the large size like these. Everyone that comes in our home loves these candles. I have actually made my own candles but spent the money for these because of the unique scent and wonderful jars.

Im unfortunately giving this 4 starsI was shopping at aldis a week ago and bought a "soy" vanilla candle as i was passing through one of their aisles. Id never used soy before. It wasnt very big but oh boy did it have scent within the first hour of lighting. It was a moment of self care and impulse that really paid off. I love it. Loved* it burned up within a week. So sad. It covered lasts weeks kitchen odors like a champI continued my journey and went searching for something newSo i bought this larger soy vanilla candle. And because this candle was sort of my plain jane syle w a handle i thought id take my chances on the bad reviews bc honestly it is a fine working candle. It lights and has some frgrance, would work fine in the dark. But i got picky after how spoiled i felt w my aldi candle and this candle is just not as nice as the $4 candle i got at aldiIf im comparing scent alone of course and i am because i spent $25 on this candle. Im starting to realise soy candles burn alittle differentThe candle came in one piece and it really is a cute jar w handleWhatever this is with the wick, i hate it. This bulbous ball of soot is annoying and a fire hazard. I have a friend who laughed at me for trimming my yankee candle wicks. I trimmed the wick before first light and now between uses. I was worried id waste the candle and the wick would burn up too fast like they sometimes have in the past if i trimmed too short?We will see. Im keeping it. But im not super satisfied bc based on the reviews i expected my kitchen to smell like vanilla and it just isnt as fragrant as the aldi one unfortunately. I was buying for the scent knowing there may be a soot and wick problem. It was not worth $25 i know of other candle brands that would have filled my kitchen w vanilla but i liked the way this candle looked. My kitchen isnt huge but a smaller room may work okay but the bulbous ball of soot is a fire hazard and cannot be avoided with trimmining i guess

This is my favorite candle company and I usually will buy this brand of candles a handful of times a year. This review is for the candle scent “Tis The Season”. It’s a nice scent, not my most favorite of the holiday scented candles, but still nice. I bought two of them since I found them for less than half the normal retail price, so I don’t have room to complain. They arrived in good shape. My only beef with this company is that a lot of times the oil from the wax often will sit at the top of the candle wax, and if you’re not careful, it can get everywhere. One of the candles I just received had oil all over the lid, but it’s easy enough to wipe off. Just something to keep in mind if you plan on giving as a gift. But overall, I love this candle brand! The scent called “Frost & Flannel” is my all time favorite candle I’ve ever smelled.

I'll admit. I haven't lit it yet after receiving it a week or so ago. Pop the lid off and have it sit in a bedroom is effective enough so I'm looking forward to lighting it. Might possibly buy another later to have for that reason and light my current one because I love this scent combo. Seriously refreshing but so gentle and nice to smell in the room when you go to bed.
