sweet bag
Great design. I use it daily for my hand tools for my job. I'm a service tech, going around to different locations working on things, so having my tools with me without having to go back to the truck to get them is great. This bag closes so they don't fall out if i have to get down on my knees or lay down. My only issue is the straps aren't as thick as they should be. The leg strap started bunching up and twisting the first day or two i used it, and the waist strap doesn't want to stay she i adjust it to, instead gradually slipping loose. I have to tighten back up every so often

I'd have set it up a little different.
10/2024- 4 years later, Still using it as a Sling Bag . . It's holding up!_________First, the belt could have been a few inches longer to fit my tummy! It fits a 42-43" waist OK, but I'm slightly larger, so I used the Leg strap to extend it. I had another small strap handy to lash it to my leg. It has capacity to carry a ton of stuff in the main pouch and various pockets, including a handgun. However, though your handgun is secure in its pouch, you will fumble a bit in an urgent situation, unlocking the front flap then un-zipping to get it out- might have been more useful to have a Velcro break-away for the holster section. Anyway, it's functionable and not uncomfortable, I'm using it almost daily.

Great multipurpose accessory
I recently purchased this anytime I go hunting or even to the range. While it is bigger than I expected, it does allow me to store a bunch of stuff in it, including magazines and even first aide equipment. I personally use it around my waist since I’m not that big of a guy, but for the larger individuals it would work well around the leg. It’s built well and has a good amount of customization ability. Happy with it overall.

It works, but could be better.
I do like the D-rings on the pack, which give me a fast and easy place to clip my bike key (on a carabiner). Unfortunately, that's the pack's best feature.I bought this so I had a place to carry my important things while riding (because it is extremely difficult to get to my pockets with my chaps on) and have found that there are other times that it is nice to have. My main issue with the pack is the waist strap. It is not very comfortable, and the way it is designed, it is hard to put on without accidentally loosening it (and it isn't the easiest to adjust). Most often I find myself wishing the pack had belt loops like a holster so that I could just put it on my belt when I'm not riding. I'd still have to use the waist strap with my chaps, but it would be much more comfortable the rest of the time. The other issue I have is that the holster is located in the front of the pack. That means that the weight is all at the outside of the pack, so when you unlatch the top, the bag sags and makes it hard to operate to get to your firearm. As every responsible citizen knows, you need to be able to get to your weapon if you need it, not be fighting with a saggy bag. Due to the design, you are also left fighting with the top flap of the bag while trying to unzip the pouch and get to your weapon. This could use a design change. The pocket for the holster should be accessible from the top of the bag without opening the flap, and it should be against your leg in the most supported position. This should be a holster with a bag on it, not the other way around.Overall, it is useful and serves its purpose, but if another came along with a better design, I would switch. But for now I can keep my stuff where I can get to it and I can relax knowing that my firearm and other important items won't be thrown in a wreck (which is what prompted me to buy this in the first place after I was hit on my bike and had to round everything up afterwards). If nothing else, I can take this off and stow it in my saddlebag knowing that everything is kept together and easy to retrieve. With some changes, it could be an everyday wearable item, but it's just not quite there.

Must Have
This is my second purchase of this item. Not because the first wore out, but because it is so useful I needed one for a go bag and one for a findings bag when I'm metal detecting. It's sturdy, over-constructed, handy, well thought out... hey, seriously, this is a must have.

Not really safe for weapons
It's floppy. The compartments are not easy to access. If you used this for a handgun, it would take too much time to access your firearm to deploy it effectively in an emergency The bag is attractive. It has a lot of pouches and compartments. It would be fine for regular use, but I have doubts over its water resistance.

Bigger than I thought
The bag is very comfortable to wear and can hold a lot - up to one whole gallon of water. It was a little big for what i needed, so I modified it to fit my needs. I wear a size 20 in US Women's and I still had a few inches.

the Velcro on the "holster" is not as well thought out as should be
i do like the idea however on a couple pieces the velcro in my opinion should be covering a lot more of it for further adjust-ability. also the zipper on the holster pocket could have been made to more easily reach the pistol, the 1 zipper is not a very good idea for getting to it in a quick fashion. everything else is very well made.
