I’ve had this chalk marker for 9 years (clearly I’m not using it ALL the time) and it’s still working perfectly. Has never dried out, just needs a few presses of the tip every now and then if I haven’t used it in a while and it revives back to being as good as new. This is the only chalk marker I’ve had that’s lasted more than 6 months without drying out!

I almost returned it because the first two times that I shook it and try to write with it and it was two different times not two times in a row it didn't work and I thought it was dried up but it wasn't. It works fine I did it on my window. My black garbage can. It gets windy in Florida and sometimes it ends up down the road.

I'm using these for glass storage containers (Sugar, Flour, etc.). So far, they have held up great and I haven't had to reapply the text. I've had the same labels on for about 2 months now, and they get a pretty good amount of use. Very minimal smearing from frequent use. The text is a little tricky to remove altogether, but I noticed that wetting a paper towel seemed to do the trick for me (maybe the chalk wasn't completely dry, not sure, but it came right off). I'm not too concerned about it, as I plan to simply replace the chalk decals if I run across this issue in the future. I can see where this may be an issue when using on a chalkboard or chalkboard wall. I'm not using this pen for a chalkboard, so for stickers, I couldn't be happier with the sharp clean lines (almost like white marker). A+

The pen is completely dry. I removed it from the package. Shook it, pushed it, pumped it. Nothing. Very disappointed as I needed it for a project. Worthless.

We entertain a lot at our house. I love using these when I have a lot of people. I don’t like using plastic Warsaw. I use these to write names on everybody’s wine glass or beer glass. It works really really well. And it’s super easy to clean. I do like to rub it up before I put my glassware in the dishwasher though to make sure that it comes off.

Awesome product!! I used it for 15 chalkboards at my wedding and it works beautifully. I didn't realize it would be liquid but that worked better than I had even expected!

Very hard to make it works at first. I even thought it was defective. You have to press it a lot... and a lot. But when it works, it does a great job. I love it.

The Bistro Markers are definitely the best ones for the purpose of writing on the style blackboard that I have. I had bought a fine tipped one at Michaels for over $6.00 which I love the best. When I ordered this one, it turned out not to be the same fine tip. So that was disappointing. Therefore, a mixed review. In any case, I would say: buy the Bistro Marker brand but make sure you get the width of tip you really prefer.
