Decent power supply
I liked it does what I need but I didn’t really load it up. Only complaint is the cord is a bit shorter than I would like but that’s why they have extension cords I suppose.

Easy install
One of my 4 foot LED shop lights stopped working. It was a $50 unit with motion sensor and dimming capabilities, neither of which I used. As I did not need dimming, I removed the old transformer and replaced it with the $16 unit. 40 watts was exactly what I need. Very easy to install with the included 2-pin phoenix connector. Works like a charm and stays cool to the touch!

The only way to power up
Application: mosquito killer mushroom; blue light attracts, computer fan traps them in a screen drawer. The 1amp little black power plug-ins selling for $5-9 all failed in less than a year, so gradually one didn't notice until bitten! Lesson: don't waste MORE money than what this costs one-time on all those failures that can't be returned as junk once time runs out. The computer fan is now running full tilt, killing those blood suckers The power is IP67 protected against rain, although its home will be prudently located under a roof overhang Avoid junk, buy this

Ultra-thin design
This is the thinnest 40 watt, 24 volt supply I could find. I’m only powering about a constant 26 watts of LEDs with it and it’s working great.

Not actually weatherproof
Says it is indoor/outdoor but this happened within the month I had it outside with a few heavy rains. It is most definitely not waterproof.
