SINGER | Futura HyperFont Software for XL-400 Embroidery Machine - Sewing Made Easy

'm having some trouble making my designs , using this software, fit my embroidery hoop.

For Christmas, I asked for the Futura XL-400. I do a lot of sewing out of my home, and ladies at work were asking for personalization on work jackets and smocks. I'm so glad I purchased the Hyperfont Software with my machine! I set to work immediately, and after three weeks of use, I've turned out easily 40 projects. The money I've made has paid for the software already, and I still have orders coming in. It does have a glitch, however, but Singer has an auto-patch update for it. The glitch is that I had to keep the CD in the disk drive to use the software. If I took it out, my computer couldn't find the data. With all the technology of these new machines, you have to be able to know where to look on the internet for help and advice. I did months of research before investing in this machine and the software package. The reviews were dubious, but my sewing machine repair guy is Singer certified, and he convinced me this was the one. Thankfully I listened to him... I'm a very happy customer!ETA: found a font website this weekend, and downloaded about 20 new fonts to my computer, and HyperFont recognized all of them! The possibilities are endless now!

I find this confusing to use as my computer skills are limited . I would have hoped for fonts to be already on this, but there wasn't. A lot of money for what it is.

This is a gift for my mother in law for Christmas...shipping was super fast! Haven't tried it out yet but i am sure she will love it!

Not worth the money. Save the money and put it towards buying the fonts that you would want from an online site/digitizer!

I really like this item... It took a awhile to gey it uploaded...all is fine now..

It takes a little bit to get used to how this works, but it has been well worth the money. Using Free Font sites, I can do anything I want with lettering on my embroidery designs. This is a Peppa Pig font I downloaded for free.I only wish I would have ordered it before I spent so much money on purchasing font files that have to be opened one letter at a time.
