Most accurate listing I’ve seen on Amazon.
Excellent fit. The fan is quiet and powerful. Not only does my gas fireplace put out radiant heat it also put out heat from 6-8feet away increasing the efficiency tremendously. My model of gas insert is a Majestic 500DVBNV7 natural gas.

What a difference!
Bought a home with a built in “just for looks” natural gas fireplace. Soon realized it main benefit was to increase NV Energy’s bottom line, not heat the family room. After a little investigation, realized it was compatible with the Criditpit thermostat blower kit. Installed in 1&1/2 hours and worked great from the start. Blower has an adjustable speed fan, thermostat turns on blower when the fireplace heats up and turns it off fireplace after fireplace is turned off and cools down. More than met our expectations.

Great product for a very fair price.
Love this blower and system. Got our ventless gas fireplace up and running again perfectly Very fair price for a great item. Have had it running nearly non stop for the past month.

Quiet and it all works.
Quiet fan motor and the temperature control is an added benefit. Installed on the back of a woodpro wood stove to replace a loud fan- what a difference in the sound levels and airflow. I was a little concerned that i would have to figure out the wiring but it came with all the parts connected already. Not sure about longevity but at this price point if I get a couple years out of it ill be happy.

Very efficient!
We bought this to improve heat flow on our propane fireplace. It works perfectly! Low volume, adjustable speed. Warms our entire great room! A definite 5 star product. The instructions, not so much. Use a YouTube video to set it up.

Could have been easier to install...
Overall good value. I looked at others and this has a good quality fan at a very reasonable price. The installation could have been so much easier if the leads to/from the temperature senor were longer. They were way too short to connect the sensor to the fan and the sensor to the variable speed on/off switch. What a pain. Also the two wires to/from the sensor are not rated for high temperature. So you have to keep them from getting near the fire box. Remember, you have 120 volts running through those wires. Failure of these wires will cause an electrical short. The sensor needs to be mounted near the top of the fire box. Therefore the wires to/from the sensor have to reach the fan, which will sit in the bottom back side, and the other wire connected to the front fan speed controller. I had to replace the provided wires with longer wires. The provided wires were about 18" and you will need close to 36 inches. I installed new wire and wire connectors (insulated type wire connectors). And of course, the wire connectors used must likely will not mate with the new replacement connectors, as in my case. So other connectors had to also be replaced as well. And you will need wire crimpers for insulated connectors. Some twist ties or equivalent (zip ties) may be needed to make sure the wires stay neat and away from the hot fire box. The fan speed control switch goes from off to low speed and increases as you turn the knob clockwise. This was opposite to the fireplace label that was on the existing control panel. No big deal as this is covered by the grill, just something to note. The fan is nice and quiet and does what it is suppose to do. This is located in our TV room and I did not want a noisy fan running while watching TV. I run it at the lower speed as to reduce the noise level.

Very quiet unit
This unit is very easy to install and well worth the money. I have had it for 6 months now and absolutely no problems. Make sure yo route the power cable so that it does not touch any part of the firebox that gets hot. It could melt the cable insulation.

Easy to install but noisy
It was simple to install, but I can't watch TV when the fan is on, it's just too noisy. Heat output is pretty good though.
