Yes, there is a ridge is raised up around the camera. I’d say it’s just a tiny bit higher, so that the camera glass doesn’t touch the surface when it’s set down. The phone lies flat with the case on.

Q: Is it mostly plastic or mostly silicon?

Both! Smartish cases are flexible, yet protective because they’re made with TPU (which is basically halfway between rubber and hard plastic.) With Smartish, it's like your iPhone's always getting a nice cozy hug.

Q: Does it fit the pro if its a regular 13 case?, There almost similar in dimensions

No, not exactly. What's that old saying, size isn't all that matters? Cameras and buttons move around, front speakers shrink, and phones get heavier. Think of the 12 and 13 as turtles and tortoises. Similar, but different enough for scientists to say they're definitely not the same thing. (P.S. Don't tell scientists that turtles and tortoises are the same... learn from our mistake)

Q: Does this have magnets in it?

It may be MagSafe-compatible, but the magnet is not strong enough to hold it securely on a holder in a car - at least not while the car is moving. I had to add an extra one for that.
