Professional Ionic Hair Dryer - O/S Optimum Solution

I really like how light-weight this hair dryer is, and the high volume of air it puts out. It is also a bit quieter than most hair dryers.This Velecta does a great job, and I am glad I bought it. It's the best hair dryer I have ever used.

It was way less powerful than the 4000i from same company, wasn’t happy with the power

I decided to try this to replace an old Rusk Speedfreak. It takes a few minutes for the air temperature to get really hot. It starts warm and then ramps up. However, by the time the air becomes hot (but not burning hot), my hair is already more than half dry (I have a lot of thick hair that goes down almost to my waist). It may take a minute or two longer to dry my hair than the Rusk, but I believe it does so more gently. My hair doesn't blow around and get overly tangled when free drying (I have no patience) and my hair is noticeably less poofed and frizzed at the ends. I have to get used to the shape and the balance of the hairdryer but I do find it easier to move it around my head with the smaller shape.11/3/19 - It's been over a year now and in the last few months found that my hair from root to end now seems burnt and frizzed after using the hair dryer. The ends are extremely damaged as well. Even after a trim. I always had the ion function on and the heat level was never above medium. I also let my hair air dry a bit before using the dryer so I don't have to blow dry for a long time nor do I direct the dryer to one area for extended periods of time (I don't use it for styling, just general drying). I think this dryer was a very expensive bust.

I have used Velecta Paramount hairdryers for more than 20 years. They are excellent products, well made in France; light, quiet, powerful and easy to clean. I only get new ones because of product upgrades. I still have the older models and they work well.

I've had several Valecta Paramounts before...but the o/s is definitely the best! Three heat options and three speed options - very lightweight and a long cord. Beautiful job drying!

My hair is pretty frizzy but this is a great dryer, dries hair fast and without much frizz! I still have to flat iron for a sleeker look but could get away without that process if I was willing to have a lot fuller hair.

I have continuously bought velecta blow dryers. At first I wasn't sold but with continued use I began to love this dryer. Ultra quiet, ultra lightweight and dries with much less heat damage. Now if it lasts as long as my last velecta dryer did. It will be my holy grail

Got this for my wife to replace her Harry Josh blow dryer, she claims it’s better than the Harry Josh, and absolutely LOVES IT!
