Q: is this the flowbee in the picture? Is the head yellow with black?

No, this is not the flowbee with the black stripe and the word flowbee written on it in yellow as pictured. I am sending mine back as soon as possible. $140 on amazon for the same product that can be had for $80 direct from the manufacturer?

Q: My very old flowbee will no longer cut. has anyone been able to degum the blades with something like goo gone?

I have never had to clean mine just lubricate the blades with a light machine oil when they bind up and stop.

Q: I noticed one reviewer said he got an uneven haircut for his dog. Has anyone else used this for their dog?

There are a few videos on YouTube of people that have been successful using the FlowBee. I did see that FlowBee sells a different unit for cutting dogs hair. Not sure what that means or if they don't want you to use the regular FlowBee on animals.

Q: Will my old Flobee vac work with this system?

It is not the quality of the original one that I bought at the original Price Club. That's how long I've had mine. But yes it does work. The spacer kit seems a bit sloppy/loose. I had to have one because I cut my husbands hair every 2 weeks. Hope this helps.
