These are really nice. I put one in the dishwasher and it didn't fall apart. I keep one beside the toaster to get bread out so I don’t burn my fingers. They are really nice to put with a tea cup and saucer for guests to squeeze their teas bags with. Good for serving lemon wedges and sugar cubes. I need to think of other creative ways to use them so please post your ideas.

I bought these for my toddler to use both for eating and for sensory bin work so that he can develop some fine motor skills. One of the eight tongs came broken and splintered so I had to toss that one out, but otherwise we are enjoying these items!

We use these to place and remove the meat and veggies on our Raclette. Firm grip and don’t get too hot like metal tongs do.

I needed to replace the wooden tongs I broke with something comparable. I should have paid more attention to the product description and other reviews re: their size. The length is good but the width separating the grip ends is too narrow. It limits my ability to grasp larger items or bigger chunks! It would be easier to grab something by squeezing them together than trying to separate them to grip bigger items. A minimum 1.5" would be good. These are closer to 1"! They appear to be well made; and it's probably good that this purchase includes eight tongs, since I have no expectations that things like this last very long! UPDATE: Over time, the grip opening continued to shrink; until it got down to about an average of 9/16". I added wooden dowels to the interior angle of the tongs to widen the spread at the gripping end (see pics). I was able to widen it from about 9/16" to about 3/4". It improved the gripping range enough to make the tongs more effective. I still think it should be wider (closer to 1").

Great little stocking stuffer.

I was tired of burning my fingers on English muffins, bagels, and toast. I use these to grab the edge of food in the toaster. I didn't really need so many but I wanted small ones due to limited drawer space. I'm giving extras to friends.

These are perfect for my Roclette New Year’s party, they will also be great for any use.
