Chalk ~ White ~ 36 Pieces/box

These are good quality tailor marking chalks. They are a bit smooth, but not as much wax content as others I have used. They mark well unless the fabric is white. The issue I had was more of a packaging problem.they are surrounded by sawdust bits to keep them safe but more than half of them arrved broken. They still work fine it really makes no difference but couldn't go a full 5 stars.

This chalk came imbedded in protective packaging to prevent breakage during shipment. I am very happy with it. It is an excellent tool for marking fabric and not leaving waxy residue

Purchased this to do some cutting/sewing. It's a great product, cheap, works, easy to see on dark and light fabrics. I will tell you it came in a little white box and had these little wood chips inside that made a bit of a mess on my desk. So be carful how you open it!

This clay chalk is no longer carried in the Garment Center, and I've been ordering directly from the manufacturer. With ridiculous shipping costs, way out of proportion to this small box. So I was very pleased that this was offered here, with Prime shipping. And it is exactly right, and what I needed. This is the perfect chalk for silk or where a wax chalk would leave a mark. This can be flicked off, and has been the marking tool of choice for more than 40 years of costume and dress-making in my workroom.

This tailor's chalk is not easy to find in stores, so I ordered it on Amazon. It's great for tailoring and sewing because it doesnt have a lot of wax or substances that stain the fabric. It brushes off easily and works great for my sewing projects. I first used it when I attended a kiltmaking class and it was recommended by the master kiltmaker. Good product. It arrived in a box and none of the pieces were broken.

not happy with the condition this arrived there wasn't a usable piece of chalk in the box I received. I wouldn't buy this product again.

One taylor's chalk can cost you $6, I purchased the box, took a few, and then gave the rest to my sister who loves to sew things. All the chalk were whole, not broken in any way. They packed it nicely with some kind of grains to keep them from breaking. That's the only thing I didn't like, that packing btwn each chalk is messy, but it did keep from breaking into little pieces.

My seamstresses in our marine canvas shop love this item. We purchase it repeatly!
