Samsung HW-KM45C 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Active Subwoofer

For the money, and my application, this soundbar/sub is hard to beat. Setup was simple, the sub-woofer paired automatically when powered up and linking to my Samsung TV took all of 5 seconds. This one isn't going to shake the floors and walls, but works great in a medium size room with a 55" TV. Lastly, although refurbished, everything was as-new. I only wish I had sprung for an extended warranty for $14.45 as the refurbished warranty is only 90 days vs 1 year for a new unit. It was double boxed. The inner box was much sturdier than the regular retail packaging and a child could easily fit in the outer box. The inner box and product-specific styrofoam protection came from the company that refurbished the unit. Great packaging, almost overkill. All required accessories, including both optical and HDMI cables were included. I am a happy camper.

I gave this samsung sound bar three stars because the optical cable connection is not good. It is very loose and I lost connectivity several times.The only other option was to use blue tooth which I do not have. The sound quality is fine and it otherwise works ok. I hope to keep that sensitive connection in place with some electrical tape.

Setup was easy and the quality of the sound is mind blowing! Watching movies is like being in the cinema. I was skeptical prior to purchase but in a word this system is WoW! If and when l need another sound system this is it.

I knew buying this sound bar refurbished it wasn’t going to be perfect and that was fine. But only after having it plugged in for less than two weeks it stopped working intermittently. It wouldn’t work by the remote so tried the buttons. It would work. Then the remote would work and not the buttons. Then it got to the point the whole thing didn’t work right. So I sent it back and am waiting for a refundUPDATE: I returned the sound bar within the time frame laid out by the seller. They gave me a refund less 20% due to a restocking fee. The sound bar did not work as intended. The remote stopped working as did the buttons on the side of the bar. They also stiffed me on the sales tax. They flat out refuse to give me a full refund of my purchase. DO NOT BUY FROM OCEAN REEF ELECTRONICS. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID!

It wasn't stated that this item was refurbished....Missing instructions, missing parts.. Mounting brackets are terrible...

Knocked off a star for the lousy packing job. Lucky it made it here in one piece as the box was coming apart. Remote battery was dead so I wonder how old and how much use it's had. Anyway, I set it up easily and forced the remote to work. It really sounds very good for a cheaper unit.

It work right out of the box. Sound is excellent

I really like this sound bar. It sounds really good to me! Since it supports Bluetooth, I am able to connect my TV, my laptop or my cell phone to it. I gave the first one to my ex-wife, and bought the same again for myself.
