Rugged and worth it
These tires handle a ton of abuse. I love techy terrain. I run them tubeless and have yet to experience a flat despite fast descents down the harsh rocks and roots on Southern IN trails.

This is the best front tire you can buy for any type of terrain, I changed my front tire and it was a night and day difference! Durable, corners well.
There's a reason so many mountain bikes have Maxxis tires. This tire hooks up very well and if it doesn't, you can count on predictable drifting. I'm cornering better than before and am consistently impressed how well this tire goes wherever you point it.

Good handling cornering and braking.
They're a tiny bit less than 2.8 inch wide. They measure 2.7 inches (just an FYI).

Arguably the best DH tire out there. Run proper psi for your weight. Forget the ultra low pressures!
