This wrench neatly solves the main problem with adjustable wrenches: slipping and rounding off nuts. To use this wrench, you tighten the jaws down on the nut as you would with any crescent-type wrench, then pull close the lever on the handle. This is a revolutionary upgrade to a standard adjustable wrench. The lock gets rid of the jaw wobble and makes it a go to instead of hunting down the right size wrench for a quick fix. Absolutely worth the money, I was worried it wouldn't be as good as a name brand but it has blown me away. It feels premium at a bargain price

where has this been all my DIY life?! lordy this made my latest project so much easier & smoother. i bet it took me at least half the time to accomplish what i did in hours on end the day before this wonder tool arrived! don't think--BUY.

These vice grip style crescent wrenches are cool; however, one thing I’ve noticed is that when you need to apply a lot of torque, even when it’s locked, the jaw starts to open a little bit, which can easily round off a bolt. It’s definitely not meant for environments where excessive torque is needed and would be better suited for sensitive fittings like brass. However, with the jaws opening up under torque, I think a standard crescent wrench would actually be safer on brass.

I bought six of these and handing them out for Christmas gifts and I kept one. I just use mine for the first time tonight and all I did is clamped it on a air fitting and I used another adjustable wrench to listen to fitting. As I turned it the pop rivet in the one I bought here and handed out as Christmas gifts broke out and the whole thing fell apart. I will be asking my friends that I handed them out to did it happen to them. Because I know if it happened to me and I got as a gift I wouldn't have complained. But for 20 bucks the damn tool should last. First time I'm using it I wasn't even using it hard it just fell apart. The only thing it's good for if you like the looks of it you're going to let it sit and never use it. If they had negative five, I would have gave it that
