This is a really great pan
Just got done washing this pan :) it’s over 3 years old and it looks like new! This pan was a little investment , but has been a pleasant surprise, meaning I feel like it was well worth the money and it performs great! Its the best bacon pan I’ve ever owned and oven cooks bacon perfectly every time! Nothing worse than burning and tossing a pound of bacon:( I usually line the sheetpan with foil for easy clean up. You should hand wash the sheet and it’s been holding up great..doesn’t feel flimsy ,but has just enough weight to it. No stickiness or warping. The rack can go in the dw and comes out clean; no stains or rust! Great versatile pan. I’d buy again and would be inclined to check out other pieces from this brand.

This Product is Awesome!
This product was purchased to cook Bacon in the oven. We have tried several different bacon cooking products including an electric bacon cooker and a microwave bacon cooker and neither performed adequately for us. We had cooked bacon in the oven before and were satisfied with the result but the bacon sat in the grease. The Checkered Chef Baking Sheet and Rack set solves the problem of the bacon sitting in the grease. We have used it two times, cooking a package of bacon each time. Both times the cleaning was easy. The rack is soaked and shortly the tiny bits of bacon debris comes right off. The baking sheet we line and let it cool till the bacon fat firms the n take the parchment and throw it away (no grease down the drain). This product is sturdy and very well made. Overall a great purchase. My only regret is not buying it before the other failed products mentioned earlier, it would have saved me money. I didn't rate "Durability" because I have only used it twice but it seems to me that it will last us for the rest of our lives.Feb 20 2021Follow up on my review from 2019 - Since my original review I have used this pan innumerable times for a variety of cooking needs and this pans durability is not in question at all. This pan is still every bit as "Awesome" as I stated in my earlier review. Prior to buying this pan I had read reviews that claimed it was cheap and warped and not sturdy but those reviews ae totally false and should not be believed. This pan has held up fantastically with only minor scratches where the rack feet sit on the pan. I would by this pan again and not even blink and eye. If you are looking for a heavy duty pan with a rack this is the pan to buy.Update (April 2022): I have used this pan extensively for baking Bacon in the oven, for meatloaf on my Grill; and for baking bread and cakes in the oven and it has lasted and performed perfectly. Many occasions the temps have been at 400 degrees in the baking process. Any negative comments you might read ignore. I do not know what those people were doing with their pan but they must have been abusing it somehow. BUY this pan! I will buy it again if I ever need another one which is unlikely!

Overall happy! There’s pros and cons...
Overall pretty satisfied with this product. I have baked chicken, beef, bacon, and even cookies with this pan/rack, and everything has always turned out amazing!Pros:- I’ve been using this almost everyday for about two months now, and not once has this pan warped in or out of the oven. The highest temperature I’ve used it at was 450 F, and no warping!!! Very sturdy.- The wire rack is also sturdy and fits perfectly inside the pan no matter the temperature.Cons:- It will scratch.- It will be very difficult to keep sparkling clean. It gets stained with those brown grease spots. I use tin foil in the bottom to catch the juices, but the edges of the pan are brown. I’m sure there must be some hack to get those stains out, but It’s almost pointless to try and keep it clean. I look past this though because I am satisfied with how it performs in cooking my food! Which has been awesome!A tip: in regards to cleaning, what I do is I turn the wire rack upside down and sit it evenly into the pan, then I pour enough soapy water in the pan so that the wire rack is fully submerged, and let it soak for at least 20-30 minutes. Then I take the wire rack into the sink and use a brush, not a sponge/scrubber, and brush the wire rack up and down/sideways, both sides, until clean. If you use a sponge scrubber you will likely catch it on a sharp edge of the rack and tear it. Also the brush will reach areas better than the sponge. If you are not concerned with your pan looking pretty, I would recommend. Good luck!

Love that the rack is uncoated. Great for high heat cooking.
This is the first sheet pan with rack I've purchased, and a) I should have bought this long ago and b) this particular sheet pan and rack combo is perfect and I'm glad I chose this one. Had it for a year and still works and looks great. I'll soon buy a second one so I can double up when cooking for family over the holidays.I use this mostly to bake chicken drumsticks or thighs (with various seasoning combinations). I bake them at 425 and then broil them on high (not directly under the broiler) for a couple minutes to get crispier skin. I used to bake chicken using and old pizza pan covered in foil. This is much better and gives me tastier food IMO and it's bigger so I can cook more. Takes the high temps just fine. A lot of cooling racks are coated so they can't handle high heat. This one is not coated. Cooking on the rack with a double layer of foil underneath over the sheet pan makes clean up nice and easy (I found a single layer of foil still let some grease through somehow). Rack cleans up pretty easily.
